12/11/2025: We enjoyed some truly delicious artisanal gelato. We enjoyed it while sitting at one of the tables outside the shop. The various flavors are hung on the wall to the right of the counter, not displayed next to each tub of gelato.

01/05/2026: Truly a terrible figure... There were about 25 of us, including friends from the 100 Torri in Pavia... We had a nice aperitif with the bitter surprise that we had to pay for the chips (and I mean chips). One of the most anti-commercial maneuvers ever... We absolutely consumed... And not even the chips. A complete embarrassment. With people from outside the area who, by the way, noticed. Terrible, terrible, terrible... We'll be careful about that for future outings. Marco S. 14/10/2025: I had a chicken cutlet and salad sandwich. The cutlet was completely raw and the breading was white. The salad, if we can call it that, was a tiny, dry leaf, probably very old. But if that were the only problem, the bartender was also rude.

17/07/2026: A lovely little bear and felateria right on Lake Trasimeno. Beautiful view, delicious drinks and panini at a fair price. The ice cream is also great. The team is friendly, but a bit understaffed. Bring patience and enjoy the view.

02/06/2026: The prices are those of haute cuisine, but the culinary experience and transparency aren't quite up to par. I have to confirm what other users have already reported: the price-to-value ratio is unbalanced. I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance during a stopover, and the experience was disappointing on several levels. 1. Analysis of Dishes and Costs ​Tagliata al Tartufo (€28.50): As you can see in the photo, the portion is small; the meat has been sliced ​​and arranged on the plate to take up space, but there's little substance. Furthermore, the truffle is present in such a small quantity as to be imperceptible. ​Selezione di Norcineria (€39.00 for two people): For €19.50 per portion, we were served a few slices of cured meats that appeared ordinary, with a menu that conveyed no distinction between the raw materials. Small Beef Fillet (€23.00): A very small portion with extremely basic plating. Transparency and Management The most critical aspect, however, concerns management. Upon arrival, we were informed that the POS terminal was out of order. When paying at the register, for a total of €141.50, we were only given a preliminary bill, which, as we later realized, stated "collect the receipt at the register." Needless to say, we have no trace of the commercial document. Note to the owner: I've read that you often respond to criticism by accusing customers of being "keyboard warriors" or of not understanding quality. I can reassure you: I regularly frequent Michelin-starred restaurants (most recently Osteria Francescana) and am happy to pay for excellence. However, excellence requires substance, technique, and, above all, transparency, both fiscal and otherwise. If you choose fine dining prices, you have to offer commensurate service. Here, I found meager portions, limited culinary concepts, and questionable payment management.

21/03/2026: Nice and welcoming, excellent food. I highly recommend the gnocchi with gorgonzola and truffle... truly delicious. The owner is very kind. We'll be back to try other specialties. ☺️

17/05/2026: We arrived for a day trip. Found it based on reviews and word of mouth from relatives. We booked quickly; it was a sunny day and we ate outside in the courtyard. It was beautiful. We ordered a mixed antipasto, tagliatelle and umbricelli, and puntarelle/grilled sausages. Everything was homemade, with care and love. The service was prompt, friendly, and pleasant. A truly delightful lunch. Flavors of the Umbrian land, torta al testo and handmade pasta. Meat grilled in the fireplace. We were welcomed as if we were family. These days, places like this are hard to find. Thank you for these hours of deliciousness and relaxation!

27/05/2026: Fantastic location on a hilltop with breathtaking views. A generous and authentic breakfast, clean and beautiful rooms. The pool overlooks Assisi and the countryside. The grounds are well-maintained with flowers everywhere; for those who enjoy hiking, there are dedicated trails within the farmhouse. For those who want to enjoy the peace and quiet and the sounds of birdsong, there are relaxation areas. A real treat... they're preparing a sauna and whirlpool for July 2026.

10/05/2026: Our accommodation consists of two buildings, each with two 32 m² apartments – it sometimes looks different on the website. The main building can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot via a steep uphill walk or about 600 meters by car, also via a steep uphill walk. From there, however, you have a fantastic view all the way to Perugia and Assisi. Unfortunately, we only found out on arrival that the apartment is only cleaned once a week (otherwise there is an extra charge of €35.00) and that the towels are also only changed ONCE a week (otherwise €16.00 for two people per change). Breakfast in the restaurant costs €36.00 for two people. The accommodation is cramped: the bedroom is 7.5 m², meaning about 50 cm of space around the bed, and the living room – about 9 m² – is filled with a sofa, a dining table with two chairs, and a smart TV that is mounted on the wall on the far right, making it difficult to see from the sofa. The kitchenette is adequately equipped with a stove and a refrigerator, but there's an additional charge of €25.00 if it's not left clean – take photos! Free Wi-Fi is offered, but the signal is very weak. You can sit comfortably in front of the covered entrance and read or do other things; the apartment at the front is best suited for this – it offers a view of the greenery, not of the neighbor's car. In the village, about 2 km downhill via a typical potholed road, there's a well-stocked supermarket with fresh bread rolls from 8:30 am, and an unbeatable ice cream parlor – a highlight of our trip. During our seven-day stay, we had no contact with anyone from the property, indicating a lack of interest in our well-being. Otherwise, they would have gladly pointed out the leaky roof in the bathroom, which dripped when it rained. All in all, the price-performance ratio was not good, and we would look for different accommodation today.
