12/11/2025: For dinner at a dear friend's house, who lives in the same building as the pizzeria, we purchased various take-out pizzas (mine was made with whole wheat flour); all the pizzas were excellent!

18/10/2025: Delicious pizza, excellent quality and very easy to digest. The staff was very kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.

02/10/2025: We tasted a soft and crunchy croissant with Chantilly cream and a SUPERLATIVE ✴️✴️✴️ half-sphere of shortcrust pastry with apple and cinnamon inside 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊 👏🏻👏🏻 Delicious cheese donut To be revisited to taste many other delicacies 😋😋

10/06/2025: You can't complain about the kebab which is really very good, unfortunately the slightly sore points are the prices which in my opinion are a bit too much above average and the place is intimate but small and it's hot. Anyway I will only go back for takeaway

18/07/2025: Il ristorante ha, dei tavoli all' aperto, il menù non è ampio ma con prodotti di qualità. Gli affettati, e la guancia molto erano buoni. Bisogna prenotare specialmente quando ci sono feste a Spello.

12/07/2025: Mooi terras en vriendelijke bediening! Eten werd vlot aan tafel gebracht en we kregen een leuk aperitiefje. Fijn restaurant als je in de streek bent!

07/09/2025: The ice cream? Wonderful! You have to try it. And after that, an amaro. But not just any amaro. We were advised at/behind the counter to try the Amaro Montenegro. Very good. And there were lots of nice people there, a very authentic atmosphere.

06/07/2025: We came in to consume something. Alcohol cannot be served, coffee cannot because the machine had been cleaned. We ask to at least use the bathroom for an emergency, they answer "the bathroom is for customers". I would have gladly been your customer but you denied us the things we asked for. I do not ask for much, but at least a minimum of solidarity for a need. Congratulations

11/11/2025: We want to consider that it was Monday and the supplies had not been made, that perhaps they were not expecting customers but the taste of the rancid sausages, the cold food, all points that should be strong points for the type of restaurant, I'm sorry but for years we have been in many "big heads" also brought many friends but we have to note the worsening of the food overall

26/09/2025: Once again, we had the pleasure of dining at La Locanda del Capitano... this time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Having lived in Umbria for the past four and a half years, we have grown to truly appreciate fine food and wine, and for me as a passionate food and wine lover, there is simply no better place than this culinary jewel in Montone. Chef Giancarlo Polito is more than just a master in the kitchen... he is a true gentleman. His genuine care for his guests and his dedication to creating unforgettable dining experiences set this restaurant apart. Every visit feels special, thanks to the perfect combination of exquisite cuisine, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay much longer. We absolutely love it here, and La Locanda del Capitano continues to be one of the highlights of our life in Umbria.

17/11/2025: Excellent quality products. Bread baked in a wood-fired oven. Pizzas, desserts, artisanal panettone, and excellent Easter sweet and cheese pizzas. I recommend this bakery.

23/08/2025: The pizza and focaccia were average, nothing special to write home about. Competitive prices, however, and a good selection.

14/08/2025: The food was excellent as well was the wine. If you are a fan of truffle this is a must.

27/07/2025: After docking in Otranto with our yacht, we dined at Al Tartufo Restaurant. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, and the staff was extremely professional. The dishes, many of which were enhanced with truffles, were a surprising discovery: balanced flavors and impeccable presentation. A restaurant worth a visit if you want to experience Otranto with a touch of exclusivity.

29/10/2025: Truly spectacular, the best meatballs I've ever tasted. Fantastic ingredients, really cute place, very fair prices. Highly recommended.

19/09/2025: Worst cappuccino we've ever had in Italy. Perhaps because we didn't eat anything? However, we didn't like the menu. So we had to pay an extra €2 in service charges? Not recommended.
