We had lunch here. Food was excellent and d we enjoyed our lunch very much.

I have been frequenting the area of ​​Assisi and Santa Maria degli Angeli for a long time, through a friend who lives in the area I was recommended the "Ristoro da Rosa", a truly fantastic place, adjacent to the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, outside In the restaurant you can also find a large free car park. The food is delicious, a wonderful tour of Umbrian specialities, local with an excellent performance, each course with generous portions and with excellent texture and flavours. I highly recommend tasting the Tagliatelle alla Rosa, a real specialty, as well as the platters of local cheeses and cured meats. I particularly appreciate the atmosphere, Elena the owner personally comes to the table to take the order herself. He has a really lovely character and makes you feel completely at ease and respected, . . . . which is rare these days!! This is also reflected in all the staff, her husband Stefano an excellent chef, who is incredibly professional and clearly takes pride in his work. If you pass by Santa Maria degli Angeli, the "Ristoro da Rosa" becomes an obligatory stop, a fantastic and HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE experience, try it and you will no longer be able to do without it. . . yes this can happen too!!!!
