30/08/2025: I had dinner here last night with my family. What can I say? It was a fantastic evening from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming and quaint, set in an ancient cellar with stone walls and antique doors, yet not at all stuffy. We were served by a very kind, friendly, and professional lady, whom I sincerely thank for her hospitality! And now for the food, a 10/10 for the chef! The dishes were sublime: classic appetizers and innovative traditional first courses made with fresh pasta and quality ingredients. The tagliata was so tender and melted in the mouth. The finale was explosive, with delicious, freshly prepared desserts! What more can I say? I hope to return, and well done! A round of applause to all of you!

04/03/2026: We go there every time we're in Perugia. The girl in the dining room was knowledgeable and very courteous. We talked about a new dish, which was good, but the one they replaced was better. She appreciated the opinion and didn't charge for it. 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝

24/02/2026: I came for lunch this morning, and the place was fairly empty. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was very good. It was a shame it was so cold inside and the wait was so short, since I'd ordered a mixed taco as an appetizer and hadn't even finished it before the sandwich arrived, making me feel like they were trying to send me away as quickly as possible. I would have preferred to finish my appetizer slowly, so as to feel more welcome.

24/11/2025: My family and I went for a snack for our son. The waitress was always on her phone. The desserts aren't like they used to be, and I'm talking about the '90s! The prices are ridiculous, as is the management. Maybe next time, but maybe not. Also, some of the pastries taste like classic pandoro and give some people heartburn.

22/02/2026: A quaint restaurant in Perugia's historic center, tastefully decorated and filled with photos that tell the story of Perugia. The platter of traditional Umbrian cured meats and cheeses is excellent. Highly recommended.

15/02/2026: We had lunch here on Sunday and were truly satisfied. The food was excellent: carefully prepared, tasty, and beautifully presented. The value for money is absolutely right. The setting is charming, welcoming, and has a soft, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a quiet Sunday lunch. Compliments to all the staff! We'll definitely be back.

Among the hot dishes, the stuffed torta al testo (bread rolls), typical Umbrian first courses like strangozzi or homemade pasta, and the local meat specialties, always cooked with care and served with simple yet tasty side dishes. Each course exudes authenticity and tradition, with a flavor that immediately transports you to the region's culinary culture. The atmosphere is rustic yet welcoming, ideal for enjoying the dishes at a leisurely pace, whether you're alone, as a couple, or with friends. The staff is always friendly and helpful, ready to explain each dish and suggest wine or cheese pairings, making the experience even more enjoyable. 26/12/2025: We stopped in today, December 26th, for a quick lunch...a mixed platter for two, €25, without even the cheeses and the torta al testo (a kind of flatbread) to pay separately. The cold cuts were of poor quality, and the cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired. 2 stars for being good.

22/11/2025: We used the spa, but the welcome was rude and bordering on rude (especially the long-haired receptionist). Don't ask her questions, she'll get irritated! The spa was a nice setting, but nothing spectacular, given the location, our expectations were too high. The water temperature was slightly cold, and the relaxation area had staff who shouted like they were at a stadium. Positive points? NONE.

20/11/2025: Intrigued by this property after watching the episode of 4 Hotels, I finally stayed at the Posta Donini recently. Starting with its strengths, the property is beautiful, well-maintained, and surrounded by a magnificent park. Another highlight is the restaurant, where we ate divinely. As for the spa, it's small but pleasant nonetheless. On both days, we were the only ones there during our booked time slot, allowing us to enjoy the experience in complete tranquility. On the first day, there was a small issue with the pool temperature, but the staff was very attentive and, as an apology, offered us a face mask during our massage the following day, a gesture we truly appreciated. Our only complaints were the room, which was a bit warm, and the breakfast, where, while everything was very good and of good quality, we would perhaps have appreciated a greater variety in the savory options.

04/01/2026: The mattresses, which are very hard, definitely need improvement. A little more cleaning wouldn't hurt, and the food could also be seasoned a little more.

28/11/2025: Visited during the Easter period. The hotel is beautiful, a little dated, but it fits the style of the area. The food was really good, and the service was excellent, from the restaurant to the front desk. The rooms had everything you need, but they were very basic but very comfortable. The cleanliness was good. The location was perfect, halfway between the town center and the village of Assisi, easily accessible on foot. I highly recommend it, especially for the attention to detail in managing this hotel. The price was fair. Special thanks to Gianna and Alessandro, two wonderful people.

20/10/2025: The best in this region! The food and service are fantastic; everything is just right here. This hotel has been a favorite with me since I was a child, and now, as parents, we feel the same enthusiasm in our children: They want to return immediately! You can tell you're welcome here, even as a child. The location is top-notch and a great starting point for many things to do in the region or in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The staff is extremely well-trained and a motivated part of this successful concept. A place that creates memories and connects generations. 💫

27/07/2025: An absolutely top-class hotel. We stayed there for a week and felt completely at home. From the room to the service, the food, and the entire outdoor facilities, everything was top-notch. Perfect value for money. We'll be back, thank you so much for everything!
