26/05/2025: I had lunch with my partner yesterday. Honestly a little disappointed by the tagliatelle with truffle, a low-quality "oil and truffle" condiment. Price (€18.00 each first course) not adequate for the portion. Total €43.50 two portions of pasta and a liter of still water. Good service and location. I will not return

05/05/2025: In un borgo, più belli dell'Umbria, si trova questo meraviglioso ristorante. Locale molto pulita e accogliente, proprio una e vera Hosteria. Personale oltre ad essere simpatici sono molto professionali. Del cibo che dire tutto semplicemente meraviglioso dai antipasti ai dolci tutto molto buona. La carne genuina e di qualità. Ottima la cantina dei vini.

Cenare al ristorante è stata un'esperienza a dir poco eccezionale...una cucina eccellente guidata dallo chef Giuliano Viaggi..scegliere la selezione di piatti scelti da lui è stata la scelta più giusta...è stata un'esplosione di sapori e colori.. Il ristorante è curato nei minimi particolari e il personale è cordiale e preparato. Torneremo quanto prima anche per provare la loro meravigliosa Spa

11/05/2025: Mi sono recato in questo ristorante assieme alla mia fidanzata durante una gita a Spello. Il locale sorge lungo il corso principale del paese, a due passi dalla cattedrale ed offre sia posti all'interno che all'esterno. Le sale interne sono situate dentro un grottino che rendono l'atmosfera molto romantica, il tutto arredato in maniera raffinata e di classe. Consiglio vivamente di iniziare con un ottimo Antipasto di di Salumi misti, oppure con delle buona Tartare. Tra i primi assolutamente consigliati i Tagliolini in Crema di Asparagi oppure i Tortelli ripieni alla Carbonara. Come dessert eccezionale il Tiramisu'. Innaffiate il tutto con un ottimo Rose' di Sagrantino frizzante e passerete senza dubbio una fantastica esperienza. Prezzi decisamente sopra la media del posto ma come detto prima il locale e' di un livello di raffinatezza di molto superiore rispetto alle altre taverne turistiche vicine.

04/04/2025: Chosen without any prior information, by intuition, this beautiful osteria a few steps from the church of San Pietro in Assisi turned out to be a very positive gastronomic surprise. Strangozzi with truffles followed by seared lamb, are dishes of a certain importance and although demanding, they were easily assimilated without any hesitation, with a white half grechetto added to the table as an aid, which I know is allowed to be drunk without a hit. Friendly, polite and efficient service. Fair account, what else can I say, we'll be back.

09/02/2025: A slightly old-fashioned place but it has its charm, the waitress is very kind and friendly and the aubergines, baked potatoes, strangozzi with truffles and maltagliati with leek and white ragout were simply superlative!

02/07/2025: Dated hotel a stone's throw from the Basilica of Santa Rita. The standard rooms are dated and do not have air conditioning, but are equipped with a 60's fan. Breakfast and lunches are spartan and low quality. With the heat these days it is difficult to have a bearable night's sleep. The superior rooms are definitely on another level.

03/05/2025: Il nome del locale dice tutto. Cacciatore di malcapitati di passaggio, oltretutto anche in un bruttissimo posto, non nel paese. Titoloni per le varie portate nel menù con prezzi elevatissimi se rapportati alle esigue o quasi nulle quantità che ti porta realmente nei piatti. Qualità mediocre dei prodotti. Un giullare che decanta vini che nei peggiori supermercati trovi a prezzi inferiori e dolci dalle consistenze pari alle pietre. In 4 persone, due primi e due secondi, con tre dolci e una bottiglia di vino che il giullare diceva provenire da chissà quale cantina ovviamebtr del supermercato affianco, alla modica cifra di 160 euro. E poi abbiamo dovuto pensare a dove andare a mangiare.

17/05/2025: This morning with my dachshund I wanted to go into this place to taste some things and when I asked if I could go in with the dog since there was a sign prohibiting entry... and that already tells you everything, I heard the lady behind the counter answer me with a firm no! Even if I wanted to keep the dog outside, it wasn't possible since there was nothing to tie the dog to! Unfortunately, even today we have these signs of pure incivility! First of all, you should learn courtesy and have sensitivity even before knowing how to make bread! If you know how to do it since I haven't had the opportunity to taste anything! I certainly won't set foot in this place again

12/05/2025: After many years I return to this historic AYCE restaurant and I must say that I found it just as I left it. What differentiates this restaurant from other All You Can Eat? The self-service mode. If you are a comfortable or mysophobic person, this place is not for you, since you will have to use things that have been touched by who knows how many people. I don't know if the quality has dropped or remained the same, but undoubtedly you cannot expect, for example, a tray of pasta prepared 2 hours ago to have the same freshness and goodness as a dish cooked on the spot. 1) What is the place like? The restaurant is located in front of a well-known fast food brand that unfortunately takes up a lot of space from the adjacent restaurants, forcing us to go around 50 times before finding a parking space. DoReMiFaWok is a place with a very nice and well-kept Asian architecture, divided into several rooms, with very pleasant music, with comfortable chairs and adequately sized tables, free WiFi, and the staff is quite friendly, but not very busy. In fact, despite having little to do (not having to carry dishes to the tables) I never saw anyone with a broom in their hand, and in fact you could see a bit of everything on the floor. In addition to the improvable cleanliness, there was also a lot of grease around (including a strong smell of fried food). Apart from all this, one of the things that undoubtedly characterizes this AYCE most is the possibility, at the end of the meal, to enjoy a fruit salad or a dessert, for free! Nothing special, to be clear, but better than nothing. And all this for only €15.90! 2) How do you eat? As said at the beginning of the review, you certainly can't expect superfine quality from this restaurant, but all in all for what you spend it's okay. The availability of dishes is not very many, and is mainly based on appetizers, first courses and fried foods, but there is also a sushi platter and a refrigerated counter with raw meat and fish to be grilled. -Appetizers: the choice is really wide, from vegetables to fish-based preparations. If we also consider the side dishes, there is almost everything. Too bad there are no soups (3 points out of 4) -Sushi: unfortunately I arrived after 1:30 pm and more than half of the platter was cleaned, so I settled for what was there. Improved since the last time I was there (it tasted like cardboard) but not at the level of the best AYCE. However, all in all I didn't dislike it (3/4) -First courses: we come to the weak point of the meal. Lukewarm, overcooked, some raw spaghetti, not very tasty… edible but could be improved a lot (2/4) -Second courses: since I don't eat meat, the choice was limited to some seafood, fish and cuttlefish; it is also possible to grill some vegetables. I limited myself to taking 4 shrimp skewers, but they left a lot to be desired: tasteless and full of sand. They were probably not cleaned well (2/4) *Bonus - sweets and fruit: in a small refrigerated counter there were some sweets, some types of exotic fruit and a tray of fruit salad; next to it there was also an ice cream maker with 5/6 flavors. Nothing exceptional but very welcome. 3) Is it worth it? The reasoning to do is this: are there AYCE restaurants that with ~€18.50 (lunch + 75cl water) you get up from the table with a full belly, where you eat better than here, where you are served and revered? Yes. So what's the point of coming here? Well, as I said, the place is very big (at least 50 tables), waiting time to eat is practically zero, you take what you see with your own eyes, choose the quantities that you like the most, you can take them as many times as you want... in short, complete freedom. Sometimes these are also small pleasures. Final 'Bandix Travels' rating: 36 points out of 50 (average of AYCE in Perugia: 35)

18/02/2025: I had dinner at this place on Valentine's Day. I would like to point out that despite the "celebration" day, the place was not very full, in fact we found a place without booking. We sat down around 8pm and were immediately offered a welcome entrée. Here is the first negative note: the entrée was nothing more than a spirit served in a glass, without anything to eat (you could have served some tarallo or breadsticks). In short, without having eaten anything you have a nice drink of this spirit which, instead of quenching your hunger, destroys your stomach. We took the order: 2 plates of beef gyoza and 3 sushi rolls. Second negative note: A table who arrived after us (but who already knew the staff) ate before us who had arrived earlier and they managed to both order and eat in about an hour (at 9pm they were already out of the restaurant). This was very frustrating because on the contrary, we had to wait 40 minutes before putting something under our teeth and in all of this the only thing we had ingested was the shot served as an entrée. After 40 minutes of waiting our 3 rolls arrived, nothing to say about these, the rolls were good and well presented. We waited another 20/30 minutes but the Gyoza didn't arrive so I asked a waitress who replied that the beef Gyoza were out of stock. (We had ordered them an hour before and when we ordered the beef Gyoza they were there! Who knows who ate my Gyoza). I know there was a mistake on the part of the waitress on the Gyoza and obviously it's not a fault, to err is human, but I wonder, how is it possible that ALL the staff (at least 4 people) don't realize that a table of two people is waiting over 40 minutes to eat and no one comes to ask if we want anything else or if everything is ok? The impression I had was that of a place that tries to be chic, serving water in the glass and serving an entrée (conceptually wrong), but which then totally forgets about the basics such as giving two peanuts or taralli while waiting and taking care of customers in times of need. In fact we were just completely forgotten all evening. I would like to point out, however, that I do not believe it to be a mistake made by a single person but by ALL the staff. We had a table near the counter, very visible to EVERYONE but no one ever bothered to come and ask us if we were missing something or if we wanted anything else, rather I saw empty tables being cleaned while we waited for someone to come and serve us. In the end we left at 10pm (after two hours) without having eaten practically anything. (3 rolls in two). At the time of the bill nothing was deducted from us and we paid a flat 60 euros for: 3 rolls 1 water 1 beer. I leave this negative review because the "dinner" was expensive and the staff was practically "absent". Some advice to the owner/staff: 1 - You must eat something with the entree, especially if a spirit is served. I don't think the people who come to eat in your restaurant usually eat beforehand, so they have an empty stomach! Serving a spirit without even a peanut and making you wait 40 minutes for a first course is a mistake. 2 - It is not correct to serve tables that arrived later (even if they are "friends" or regular customers) this is very annoying for customers, especially if they have to wait 40 minutes before putting something under their teeth and are forced to look at who arrived after eating. 3 - After you make a mistake you try to fix it by offering something or giving some discount to make up for the bad impression. However, not even the bottle of water was taken away from us.... Personally I won't go back there again and I wouldn't recommend it for a dinner! Rather, it's a bar trying to do some sushi. If you want to drink it's OK but for food I would recommend going somewhere else. In short, it is one of those places where you spend WELL and eat LITTLE.

18/01/2025: Norma is the place to be. Young, professional, capable and motivated staff. Pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. All the sushi we tried were excellent, as were the other appetizers. Really good cocktails (one leads to another). Last but not least...there is also the possibility of playing chess. Memorable experience.

03/06/2025: We had dinner at Il Duomo restaurant this evening with my husband and our little girl, and we were really satisfied! The welcome was warm, the staff very friendly and attentive. We ate an excellent pork loin and a delicious stew, cooked with care and flavor. The attention given to the little ones was also much appreciated: our little girl was offered a special menu, perfect for her, and the owner - really kind and helpful - even gave her a little gift that made her very happy! A very pleasant experience in every aspect. We will definitely be back!
