08/01/2026: My husband and I stayed for New Year's Eve and left on January 2nd. We both stayed and dined at the Locanda, and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was very kind, and the dinner was superb! Breakfast was meticulously prepared, with a different dessert made every day by the owner of the Locanda! Highly recommended! We'll be back soon! 01/02/2026: I highly recommend this place. We recently came here craving a delicious pizza. This was immediately disproved when the pizzas arrived at our table. They were low and soft, looked horrible, and smelled terrible. We even sent a couple back. The mozzarella wasn't fresh, the pizzas were very lightly topped, to say the least. The only redeeming feature is perhaps the service, which wasn't bad. There were about ten of us, and after eating the pizza, we felt sick all night with severe stomach pain and nausea. Especially since it's just a few steps from the center of Spello, for those who want a good pizza, just go downtown and you'll find tons of places that are at least adequate for a decent dinner. I strongly advise against it.

29/12/2025: Well-maintained without neglecting the details. When I passed by, I found everything very clean. The path was well-lit, without interfering with the lake, which at this time of year magically takes on a Christmas-themed glow. Obviously, the place is quite humid, so I recommend covering up during this time of year. A beautiful experience that completes the Christmas season. Lake Trasimeno is charming by day and lights up at night, recalling the festivities...

28/12/2025: That genius owner threatened to beat me up and kick me out of the place because I sang a song during a cheerful dinner with friends. I've read in various reviews that the owner often throws these tantrums. The result was that the entire table I was at got up and left, the evening having been ruined and the food was almost awful, at least the lake millefeuille I had. I hope to see this place burn down... 🤘🔥🤭

17/11/2025: A wonderful surprise! We stopped by chance for a quick lunch during a trip. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The grilled lamb is a must-try.

19/10/2025: We arrived at this welcoming inn for lunch and dinner with my family and friends. We were greeted by a friendly, approachable lady who explained the house menu, authentic and varied, featuring home-cooked dishes that were beautifully prepared. We ate in a setting surrounded by nature, with a beautiful panoramic outdoor terrace, and were served with kindness. We savored the local delicacies. It was a truly delightful experience that I highly recommend to lovers of good food. I recommend calling to reserve.

28/12/2025: Searching for information about this restaurant and its offerings, one finds basic descriptions, but one can easily grasp the uniqueness of the ambiance, both inside and out, and the seasonality of the dishes (hence the attention to ingredients) and the inspiration from tradition. In my opinion, "sea and mountains" is the common thread running through the various offerings, where different ingredients and gastronomic cultures (particularly Umbrian and Sicilian cuisine) find a new identity. For my appetizer, I chose brandy-infused shrimp on a leek cream with Jerusalem artichoke chips: three gradual consistencies, three distinct flavors that ultimately blend perfectly. For the main course, seafood orzotto. Using barley, a typical Umbrian grain, in place of the usual rice, yielded an unexpected result.

29/03/2026: We were passing through the area and chose to eat here. After ordering, we waited at least half an hour for our appetizers (which were very small portions). Once we'd finished, we waited at least another 50 minutes for our entrees, watching other tables, some of whom arrived after us, eat. We asked for an extra bottle of water, and we had to wait a long time for that too. As if that weren't bad enough, when our food finally arrived, I found a hair in it. The portions were small, and the quality of the food was inferior to the price paid.

29/03/2026: Rude and rude waitress, appetizers arrived after half an hour and main courses an hour later, and in minimal quantities, several requests for water were only granted at the end of the meal, and the bill was excessive, even for the addition of bread that wasn't requested. 17/11/2025: We love this bar/restaurant. It is ‘alive’ and friendly. A great antmosphere. All the staff welcome you like friends and make you feel ‘at home’. They take a pride in everything they serve. Even a cappuccino is made perfectly to your liking and served with love. We ordered a Gnocchi Di Zucca last week and it was absolutely delicious. A feast for the senses.

30/08/2025: I had dinner here last night with my family. What can I say? It was a fantastic evening from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming and quaint, set in an ancient cellar with stone walls and antique doors, yet not at all stuffy. We were served by a very kind, friendly, and professional lady, whom I sincerely thank for her hospitality! And now for the food, a 10/10 for the chef! The dishes were sublime: classic appetizers and innovative traditional first courses made with fresh pasta and quality ingredients. The tagliata was so tender and melted in the mouth. The finale was explosive, with delicious, freshly prepared desserts! What more can I say? I hope to return, and well done! A round of applause to all of you!
