We went here twice on our trip to Umbria. Everyone was so welcoming, and the food was amazing. Just about everything could be made gluten free, and I felt great after eating here. They even made their own gluten free bread.

This is a place we often have lunch at. It is a rustic restaurant that serves authentic Umbrian food of high quality. They also have some "special items" (Kangaroo anyone?), that I never tasted. Try the antipasti - lovely! We often have meat and patate fritte as main course. I think the patate fritte are among the best I have ever tasted. The staff and owner are friendly and helpful. We love this place. Try sitting in their nice outside-area when the weather allows.

A restaurant that truly focuses on authenticity, both in its choice of ingredients and in the owners' attention to their guests.
The local dishes are excellent and the value is excellent.
The menu is extensive and offers gluten-free options, with all the necessary precautions (the restaurant is registered with the AIC).
The welcome is warm and familiar: at the end of the meal, they even offer a house liqueur, a gesture that is always appreciated but, unfortunately, increasingly rare.

Had lunch at this little gem. Authentic, local food. Homemade pasta, super-tasty main courses, and excellent desserts (also homemade). Quiet place, fast, attentive service. Prices are more than fair... Highly recommended!
