I visited this restaurant a few days ago and wanted to leave a super positive review. I highly recommend trying the olive oil tasting before lunch: it's truly a worthwhile experience. We found so much care and attention to detail, starting with the tasting itself, during which we were given precise instructions on how to taste each type of oil, accompanied by matching bruschetta and all the necessary explanations. The restaurant's highlight, in my opinion, is definitely the Sagrantino fillet: incredibly tender meat that literally melted in the mouth, with a reduction that gave it a truly unique and refined flavor. The first courses were also excellent: we asked for the option of two half portions so we could sample more than one dish, and not only were we satisfied, but there was no extra charge—an option that isn't always common and is certainly much appreciated. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and professional. It was a pleasant experience in every way, and I hope to repeat it soon.

Restaurant in Montefalco. Very nice location with tables in the alley. The cheeses and gnocchi with goose were good, the pappardelle with pigeon ragù was not really a ragù, but a mousse, and too lemony for my taste. The only downside, not photographed, were the two sharp bones, which were a bit dangerous if ingested. This was because the mousse wasn't sifted. When pointed out, they didn't apologize. The service was courteous, with all the dishes explained thoroughly. A must try if you're in the area.

We tried the coratella and the stewed snails as an appetizer, and both my girlfriend and I loved them! The flavors were structured and just right. Then we moved on to the tagliatelle with pigeon, and I must say the flavor was very pleasant, as was the gnocchi with Sagrantino. Perhaps what I would have avoided was the Sagramisù, which in my opinion wasn't the best. Everything was very good, the service excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to try something different from the classic trattoria.

An absolute gem in the heart of Montefalco! Eating at Olevm was easily one of the highlights of our time in Umbria. This restaurant doubles as an incredible oleoteca, and their dedication to high-quality olive oil shines through in every single dish. We started our meal with a complimentary bread service paired with their phenomenal, rich house-production extra virgin olive oil. For the main courses, Beef steak with oil and rosemary taste incredible and the homemade pasta completely blew us away. The strangozzi al tartufo was absolutely standout which had an incredible, deep earthy truffle flavor that paired wonderfully with our bottle of local Montefalco wine. Aside from the spectacular food, the atmosphere is charming, warm, and historical. The outdoor seating right on the main street provides a beautiful breeze and excellent people-watching just a short walk from the central piazza. Daniela and the entire staff treated us like family from the moment we walked through the door—attentive, passionate, and deeply welcoming. The prices are incredibly reasonable given the top-tier quality of the ingredients. Make sure to stop by their small retail shelf before you leave to grab a bottle of their olive oil to take home. 5 stars all around!

This restaurant was recommended to us by the host of the B&B where we stayed, and we were extremely satisfied. Impeccable service, original and authentic dishes, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's a shame I can't give more than 5 stars. P.S.: Pet friendly!
