We had a meal at Locanda del Bartoccio, right in the center of Perugia. The restaurant offers carefully prepared, generous, and beautifully presented dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful. A positive experience, recommended for those who want to eat well in the historic center.

Excellent simple, home-style cooking; we ordered typical Umbrian dishes. Good value, stunning location in Piazza Matteotti. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. I would recommend this inn to anyone.

A typical Perugian osteria, right in the historic center. Excellent, generous dishes at a reasonable price. We had delicious pappardelle with wild boar ragù, loaded with meat and seasoning, cured meats for appetizers, and a sliced beef steak. Unfortunately, since there were only three of us, they assigned us a table very close to the front door, where all the drafts from the open front door reached us...and it was freezing that night!

A traditional Umbrian restaurant in the heart of Perugia's historic center. The food is very good, and the wine is equally good. We ate here for Sunday lunch, and even though it was packed, we were seated at a semi-outdoor table to accommodate our dog.
The focaccia with mortadella and the pappardelle with wild boar ragù were very good.

Lunch with friends, three first courses and two appetizers shared, and an excellent wine, all framed by a sunny spring day...not recommended, more.... Simple dishes with an authentic Umbrian flavor. And for dessert, the courtesy of those who have hospitality in their DNA.
