A fixed menu of 14-15 courses, not always full plates but rather tastings, based on typical local products or preparations. The order of dishes at the table doesn't follow the traditional first course, second course, and side dish order. In fact, dinner (in my case, in the 10 years I've been eating at Botteguccia, it's always dinner only) concludes with a final course of pappardelle, strangozzi, or fettuccine with truffle. It can be confusing, but it's the house's choice, and it's good to know this before sitting down. The individual dishes change frequently. In my visits over the years, I've found the cream of chickpeas or cannellini beans with truffle, the final pasta with truffle, the lentils with three herbs, the goose pâté with crostoni, and the roasted meats (be it pancetta, sausage, or steak) to be superb. The warm ricotta with olive oil (and bread) is always delicious (and always a favorite starting point). It's a shame that in 2025 their tiramisu is no longer on the dessert menu: it was exquisite. The price has been increased this year, but it's in line with the offerings, quantity, and quality. It's worth noting that the final bill is lower if you skip the truffle pasta at the end of the meal. My bill included pasta (and it couldn't have been otherwise).

In the heart of the village of Colfiorito, this osteria is a haven of authenticity that captivates from the moment you enter. The welcoming and friendly staff immediately makes you feel at ease, creating a family atmosphere. The flavorful appetizers are impeccably whet the appetite.
The first courses are a true delight, thanks in part to the use of fresh chili pepper, which makes a difference compared to the usual ground chili. And let's not forget the moka pot coffee, a perfect finish to a home-cooked meal. A restaurant not to be missed for those seeking authenticity and warmth! A place I will always remember.

Beautiful discovery along the journey undertaken. First of all the welcome was excellent because the staff welcomes you as if you had known each other for a long time and then the table service is very fast. Practically after 2 minutes that you sit down you are already eating. 0 km appetizers and you can tell, they are delicious. We did not take any first course but a second course and it was very good. In conclusion, if I ever pass by those parts again, a stop there in the shop is definitely a must! Well done well done!!

Restaurant without a menu, you eat what there is. They bring you many samples, simple, with local and delicious products. I said I was vegan and there was no problem from the service to manage the dishes. Excellent.

A cool place to die for. You eat what there is: vegetables from the garden, ricotta made in the morning, truffles, potatoes and mountain ciasculo. Everything is very fresh, delicious and expertly cooked. I've been there once and it has already become a must-see every time I pass by here.

Characteristic place between a tavern and a restaurant.
The staff is very friendly, you can see that the spirit is to welcome their customers and enhance the genuine products of the place.
As soon as you arrive you will be greeted with a big smile and once seated they will immediately make you start with the appetizer as a sign of welcome.
Once finished with the roundup you move on to choose whether to continue with first or second courses.....to finish with the mocha coffee strictly served with my own.
The price is all in all....average.. even if I think that the complete menu is around €25.
In short, if you are in the area it is worth stopping by, typical food stop.
I recommend it, it is worth trying.
Last but not least, but no less interesting, tried in 2017 by chance, I must say that having returned after 7 years, the quality has always remained at high levels and even the prices have been contained.
I confirm, it is worth trying.
And congratulations for having remained faithful to the passion undertaken a few years ago by maintaining quality and care for customers.

El mejor lugar donde uno puede probar la comida local rústica en un asiento. Aquí, te dan la mejor y más auténtica comida de esta región. Desde el entrante hasta el postre y el café. No tienes que pedir desde el menú y ellos te lo darán todo. Tienen diferentes platos para atender a los vegetarianos también. Stefano, el dueño de la ostería, cuida bien de todos. Mi última visita aquí fue hace un año y recuerda que no me gusta demasiado la carne, así que se encarga de preparar algo vegetariano para mí. Con todo, ven a probarlo. Uno no tiene que hablar italiano para disfrutar de la comida y el ambiente aquí. El precio incluye desde el entrante hasta el café, agua y vino, y lo más importante de todo, la cálida y acogedora hospitalidad. Muy recomendable para todos los que les gusta probar productos frescos si la región.

In una giornata freddissima, un'atmosfera calda, da tutti i punti di vista, è quello che ci vuole!
Siamo stati davvero bene in questa "botteguccia", la formula adottata (non si ordina, si mangia quello che viene portato), è simpatica e contribuisce al clima familiare. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, solo un po' troppo e di certo torneremo!
