A varied and imaginative menu that doesn't neglect Tuscan tradition. High-quality products, expertly and skillfully cooked, tasty yet delicate. Elisa is a thoughtful and kind hostess, as well as a first-rate chef.
A well-stocked wine cellar and delicious desserts. Excellent value for money.

My husband and I are so passionate about Il Merlo that we chose it as the venue for our wedding reception. They were as helpful as they always have been over the years we've been dining there. Chef Elisa, Silvia in the dining room, and the entire staff are highly professional but also deeply sensitive. This is evident in the way they cook, serve, and address guests, and especially in the patience and helpfulness with which they supported us in planning our wedding. We couldn't have chosen a better location, a place that feels like family to us.
