10/05/2025: Siamo tornati in questa taverna ad un anno di distanza perché avevamo un ottimo ricordo Il locale ci era stato consigliato da una persona del posto. Cibo genuino dove puoi riscoprire i sapori toscani. La freschezza degli ingredienti si percepisce su tutto quello che viene servito, compresi i dolci fatti rigorosamente in casa. Picci all' aglione, tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale, fiorentina, tagliata,..... tutto di prima qualità! Ritorneremo sicuramente quando saremo in zona!

21/05/2025: Piccolo ristorante locale con cibo spettacolare. Ho mangiato caccio pepe , pecorino fresco, delicato pieno di sapore, con pasta fata per loro. Signori “Pepe” ha fato de questa giornata, un momento familiare.

17/05/2025: We had a lunch of superlative pappa al pomodoro and a memorable Fiorentina (made with Tuscan meat, not imported from abroad) with an excellent house red. The host is friendly and courteous, who puts his heart and soul into it and who, he says, doesn't look at these reviews. The digestive "Spinello" is unmissable.

24/05/2025: Nos encontramos con este restaurante casi por accidente cuando estábamos deambulando por Siena. El exterior era muy acogedor y no nos decepcionó cuando entramos. Personal muy amable y acogedor, gran ambiente, buena música - a un buen nivel bajo por lo que la conversación es fácil. Ambos tuvimos el Ossobuco, que estaba derretido - en - la boca tierna y una botella encantadora de Vernaccia Di San Gimignano que se recomendó bajó muy bien también! Muy recomendable.

12/05/2025: Maravillosa lasaña, berenjena y Osso Bucco. Personal agradable, precios razonables - esta fue nuestra mejor comida en Siena - recomiendo encarecidamente.

26/05/2025: In giro per la Toscana con i cugini Brasiliani non poteva mancare di visitare Montepulciano, località molto turistica dove, in genere, si trovano solo ristoranti "per turisti". Ma non è questo il caso: accoglienza, location e cucina di ottima qualità. Personale professionale e gentilissimo, interno del locale molto caratteristico, materia prima di qualità e ottimamente cucinata, agnello ottimo, guancia fantastica, bistecca alla fiorentina degna del suo nome, pici fatti in casa al ragù deliziosi... ristorante consigliatissimo!

09/05/2025: Excelente comida. Teníamos la tarta de puerro, que era delicioso, los ñoquis que se cocinó a la perfección. Para la alimentación el cordero y el cerdo que iba a morir. Los postres eran igual de deliciosos. Fantástico servicio y una experiencia imprescindible.

01/06/2025: A classic tourist trap at the entrance to Siena. The wine was good, but the main courses unfortunately resembled frozen food. We had a lasagna and a pici al ragu. Both cost €13. Normally, that would be a perfectly reasonable price, but unfortunately, the portions were very small and, as mentioned above, tasted very poor. In total, I paid just under €50, and unfortunately, we weren't satisfied. On a positive note, the friendly and attentive staff treated us to a limoncello after we paid. We certainly won't be coming back; there are better and cheaper restaurants right in Siena's old town, where we've already eaten.

29/05/2025: Amazing sandwiches here, I believe I had the panino with baked ham and fontina. Coffee was great, f your an American tourist you’ll appreciate the Cappuccino maxi. It’s a double sized coffee vs the traditional smaller cappuccino. The service by Lorenzo was excellent, he was friendly and kind. We appreciated the hospitality and food here while visiting Siena

31/05/2025: Having read the recent reviews and settling on making the trip, we were met with a string of disappointment during our visit. We ordered the Tortelli, Steak and Beans. The service was genuinely existent. We were offered a table outside where we faced a wall, when there were 2 other tables available already set. As we found, neither were actually booked as they seated other walk ins after us. While the food was quick to arrive and was reasonable in taste, the steak was poorly cooked, and still with a lot of gristle. The Tortelli was quite good though. After all this the prices were 'reasonable' had the food and service been better. But in this case, it was quite an expensive meal for something that was not really reflective of the other reviews and ratings. I'll put it down to a tough night for the staff, or something else going on (ie more about locals than visitors). But there were plenty of other options in the township that would be deserving of your visitor dollars. This reads as a tough review, but genuinely felt that it just wasnt the experience we had hoped for a restaurant with such positive reviews.

26/04/2025: Cordialità ma soprattutto ottimi piatti. Eravamo in visita a Siena e siamo stati indirizzati dalla reception dell'agriturismo in cui soggiornavamo. Dalla pizza alla tagliata...varietà del menù e tutti molto buono...per non parlare della Zuppa Inglese come dolce...divina

04/05/2025: ¡Qué hallazgo! Uno de los pocos lugares abiertos un domingo en Sinalunga. Nuestros anfitriones Stephano (propietario) y Pitra nos mimó con un servicio al cliente maravilloso y una comida que no decepcionó. Obtenga la tabla de salami “Especial”, Viene con salami, anchoas en vinagreta, queso de cabra , tomates secados al sol, focaccia a la parrilla, miel local, mermelada, calabacín a la parrilla y whew! Maldita sea. Los ravioles de setas con salsa crema tartufí deslumbraron mi paladar. ¡MALDICIÓN!

18/05/2025: Excellent family-run trattoria, traditional Tuscan dishes, three generations of the family take turns between the kitchen and the dining room, the historic restaurant is located in the town square. Highly recommended.

05/05/2025: A real shame. The dishes are simply fantastic, original, refined and very tasty. This is the classic case where the service ruins the restaurant. The cuisine deserves 5 stars, the service 0. As soon as we arrive the owner looks at us without letting us speak and tells us that everything is full. We point out to him that we had booked and, almost annoyed, he makes us sit at a table in front of the kitchen door. Patience, but 3 tables around us always remained empty so the place wasn't full. I didn't understand why but the owner seemed very friendly with the friendly patrons, while almost annoyed by our presence. Annoyed and distracted service, every time we had to call the waiter's attention several times. The place is located in a fantastic place even if it is quite sad inside. It's really a shame because the dishes are worth it, but the reception compromised the final judgement. If you treat all new customers like this I don't recommend it.

26/04/2025: Quiet and simple place with typical food of the Tuscan countryside. Located in a place frequented by people passing through along the road that connects the Florentine and Sienese hinterland to the sea.

17/05/2025: The village where the restaurant is located is very nice but unfortunately the meat of the peposo was tough and the tagliata was thin. Small portions for the cost. The first courses are better, even the appetizers are a bit small. When paying the bill, they go a lot for excess in rounding the cents.
