08/03/2026: I dined last night with friends at this osteria located in the small square at the entrance to Monteriggioni. I must say we ate dishes made with excellent local products. Something not to be underestimated: the knowledgeable, friendly staff and very fast service. Well done, keep up the good work. Highly recommended!!! Thanks

31/01/2026: A small restaurant located in the heart of the medieval village of Monteriggioni. We had a glass of rosé, which was decent, and I opted for the pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale (€12). The dish was good, but the portion was a bit small, to the point that I was still hungry at the end of the meal—which is quite unusual for me. We followed it up with dessert. The price was reasonable, but the portions were a little disappointing.

09/03/2026: We arrived at the last minute and the very kind staff immediately made themselves available to us. The food was excellent and the price was right. I recommend it.

16/03/2026: We celebrated our wedding in Tuscany on August 30, 2025 at Agriturismo Belaggagio and it was absolutely incredible. From the very beginning, Giorgio supported us tremendously with the preparation, coordination, and planning. He was always reachable, incredibly thoughtful, and truly committed to making all of our wishes possible. The planning process was very well organized, with clear presentations of options and great advice. Giorgio also helped coordinate with other vendors and supported us in finding the right service providers, which made the whole process much easier for us. The venue itself is beautiful: wonderful grounds, very well maintained and decorated with great attention to detail. The rooms are lovely, cozy yet modern, and the entire place has a warm, very family-like atmosphere. Even if you don’t speak Italian, everyone makes you feel immediately at home. The team was amazing on the wedding day. Despite a short rain shower before the ceremony, they handled everything perfectly – even setting up and rearranging things twice so that everything could still happen as planned. Their dedication and flexibility were truly impressive. The homemade food, buffet, and drinks were outstanding, and the overall service throughout the stay was fantastic. There are also many services included, which makes planning much easier. Thanks to Giorgio and the entire team having everything under control behind the scenes, we were able to fully focus on enjoying our special day. The atmosphere, the celebration, and the positive energy of the team made it unforgettable. We couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Annika & Maurice

01/03/2026: A real experience! Excellent Tuscan restaurant at Michelin level! We arrived at Taverna de Merlino on Sunday evening. We ate a dish from every section on the menu. The service was excellent, Natalie was kind, pleasant, professional and quick. The bruschetta was simply out of this world. We chose a bruschetta mix, my wife is vegetarian so Natalie personally adapted this dish for us and it was simply excellent. Then we ate an excellent leaf salad that came with apples and nuts. Then we ordered pasta which was in my opinion the best pasta we have eaten so far in Italy - fresh, made correctly, not too oily and not too lean, just right. We also ordered a steak which was excellent but we were less enthusiastic about it, we should have stuck to the Italian dishes. We ordered a panna cotta dessert with almond flakes and caramel which was crazy! And the price - simply amazing, 57 euros for all this! I will definitely come back here again!

08/02/2026: We just left this small, family-run restaurant. What can I say? It was divine! It felt like we were eating at home, and that's no small feat! The food was delicious, from appetizer to dessert, all handmade. The service was EXCELLENT!! We're from Rome, but if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

29/01/2026: We happened upon this place because I had eye surgery here in Poggibonsi. It was a tough three days, but thanks to Cristian, I truly felt at home. The place is intimate, beautiful, and has super products. The wines are WOW. But the passion is top-notch. Thanks Cristian, and thanks also to Martina for everything.

09/03/2026: Excellent dinner! A very charming osteria in the center of Siena. Carefully presented dishes, excellent food, and good value. The service was attentive and very fast. Highly recommended!

05/03/2026: We arrived around 1 PM for lunch, without any recommendation from anyone, just a quick internet search. As soon as I sat down, I immediately noticed from the atmosphere that the restaurant was only for locals, which is always a positive for me; despite some noise, the ambiance was pleasant. The service was quick, and the food was perfect. I especially recommend the two desserts, Tiramisu and Apple Tart, which were the stars of the meal. For starters, we had Chianina beef tartare, followed by Tagliata di Manzo and Rabbit with Sausage and Truffle Cream. Everything was perfect. It was accompanied by the house red wine. A negative note was the smell of food that lingered on our clothes; the kitchen's ventilation system needs improvement.

08/11/2025: We dined here two nights in a row, trying appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts. Everything was delicious and high-quality. The service was excellent. The prices were fair for what you get. We recommend the filet in Chianti, a true culinary experience. You absolutely must try this place and this dish!!

30/10/2025: Excellent place for dinner, we ordered Tagliata al Rosmarino and Filetto di Cinta, both were very filling and delicious. Beautiful setting in a building with over 450 years of history, a huge variety of local and international wines. They also serve in English and Spanish.

16/12/2025: We spent a delightful evening in the village of Serre di Rapolano. The food was fabulous and delicious, as was the family atmosphere and excellent service. The daily specials menu is a distinctive and positive feature that makes the most of Tuscan flavors for each season. Definitely worth a try and we'll be back in the summer!
