16/12/2025: We spent a delightful evening in the village of Serre di Rapolano. The food was fabulous and delicious, as was the family atmosphere and excellent service. The daily specials menu is a distinctive and positive feature that makes the most of Tuscan flavors for each season. Definitely worth a try and we'll be back in the summer!

07/05/2026: Beautiful country hotel at the foot of the village of Montefollonico. Just a short distance from Pienza and Montepulciano. Spacious, carefully furnished rooms. Excellent restaurant and beautiful pool. Perfect for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Tuscany. We also had a fun cooking class on traditional Pici.
18/04/2026: It's "my" restaurant for special occasions. Even though I go there often, I still can't find a single flaw. Must try.

16/05/2026: We enjoyed a fabulous meal here when on our Via Francigena hiking trip. We had to try a lovely bottle of Brunello wine whilst in this region (which inflated the meal price) and it didn't disappoint.
05/05/2026: Everything was perfect! Excellent, expertly prepared food at this family-run trattoria. The staff were friendly and available to accommodate every request.

15/05/2026: The best thing was the owner who is super personal and friendly and attentive. The gluten free pizza and hot chocolate cake where great as well. Awesome music. The vibe of the place is authentic Italien. It's a small place.

13/05/2026: This is our second time dining here, and the second time we've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food and their courtesy.
We'd like to give special mention to the pecorino and cheese platter (served with a selection of truly delicious jams and sauces, and a focaccia that rivals our Genovese) and their consistently excellent wines.

06/04/2026: I had an amazing experience at Il Salotto! The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed lunch. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish I tried was a delight, and the desserts were heavenly. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu! Highly recommend!

17/05/2026: Family lunch, enchanting location, in the center of a small, quaint Tuscan village, kept to perfection. They pampered us from start to finish, a truly enjoyable lunch. The menu and dishes are typical Tuscan, but truly unpretentious, out of the ordinary. You can sense tradition, attention to detail, and quality as you eat. The house wine is also excellent. Highly recommended, we'll be back!
05/05/2026: Review is for breakfast - came here regularly for a month whilst staying in the area. Beautiful and friendly people serving up fresh pastries and caffe. Loved sitting outside, so do that if you have the opportunity.

18/05/2026: Amazing experience!!! My family of 5 did the cooking class with chef Dante - absolute legend. Then we had dinner and a wine tasting with Mikela and Alessia. It was so so fun, informative, and just a highlight of the trip
16/05/2026: Torciano winery is a wonderful place with fantastic service and magnificent wine and food. We did a cooking class with Dante, a delightful chef with a very authentic aura, where we learned to make Tagliatelle, Ravioli, and pici by hand. We had two separate wine and food tastings. The first one with Giulio, a fantastic sommelier with an infectious passion. Our second tasting was with Mikela and Alessia, two vibrant and knowledgable sommeliers who taught us about how to fully experience wine in Italy. Highest recommendations!

17/05/2026: I've never left a negative review. I'd rather not leave anything if I'm not satisfied. But not this time. The portions were huge, like 30 grams of pasta per person. When I pointed this out, the responses were truly arrogant. The bill was truly out of proportion for what we received. Go elsewhere for lunch or dinner, that's the only advice I can give.
