02/03/2025: When booking we advised that we had a baby girl born a few months ago. They reserved a room for our table (10 people) with an air conditioner on for the child's comfort. Excellent service, food and environment.

16/03/2025: We returned to eat at Osteria del Leone and for us it was confirmed as the best restaurant in the area. We started with appetizers of hand-cut ham and pate with exquisite pa brioche made by them. Then to follow pici with garlic, cacio e pepe and their carbonara which is truly Top! Then among the specials we took the pork chop cooked at low temperature and the truly special mullets stuffed with smoked provola and fried. To close on all the delicious desserts, a special mention for the buffalo ricotta ice cream with sour cherries which was truly incredible. Fast and kind service. Wine list for connoisseurs with a wide selection of labels and prices. We will definitely return on our next visit to Siena. Well done!

04/03/2025: Siamo stati a cena da voi, io e la mia compagna, e siamo rimasti davvero colpiti dalla qualità dei vostri piatti. Ho iniziato con il prosciutto di cinta senese tagliato al coltello: semplicemente delizioso, con un grasso che si scioglieva in bocca. Lei ha scelto il carciofo alla giudia, asciutto e saporito, cucinato alla perfezione. Come primo, ho provato i pici tirati a mano con sugo di lepre: fantastici, con un sapore intenso e ben equilibrato. Lei ha optato per le pappardelle ai funghi porcini, che si sentiva fossero fatte a mano con grande cura. Abbiamo concluso con il loro tiramisù, il finale perfetto per una cena davvero riuscita. Il conto è stato più che giusto per la qualità e la quantità dei piatti. Ci tornerei molto volentieri!

02/02/2025: Local created from a very welcoming former stable in the context of Villa a Sesta village, honestly, not nice. There is better in Chianti. The "greatest hits 8 course" menu was stressful: too many different flavors one after the other, some of them very strong. The tortellini al buristo left me with an aftertaste that I didn't like. Of the second courses, I liked the aubergine cake and the salted ricotta, but not the pigeon pulp and the roe deer fillet, although they were cooked with undoubted skill. The 2 good desserts, but practically 2 spoons in total. The "al pace" IGT wine left us speechless. Cost €16.50 per bottle! In a starred restaurant you don't expect it. So I would say good, but not great. I wouldn't go back.

06/01/2025: I had dinner at this inn with my husband and our 7 year old daughter. We were welcomed by a family atmosphere that made us feel at ease right away. Very good food and excellent value for money! If you pass by here you have to try it! Highly recommended!!

13/03/2025: Che dire lo chef Pino non si smentisce mai con la sua favolosa cucina. Pesce sempre fresco e preparato senza tanta lavorazione per far sì che il gusto resta quello reale. Sono solito prendere degli antipasti di crudo, che sono veramente squisiti, deliziosi, freschi ed abbattuti, nonché impiantati con classe. Ricci di mare ostriche scampi salmone tonno, il tutto veramete squisito.Personale di cucina preparato e all’altezza, come l’aiuto ai secondi. E che dire della sala tutti professionali e attenti al cliente. Non mancano dei vini ottimi sia bianchi, bollicine che rossi.Per finire sempre una bella esperienza culinaria.

27/02/2025: The steak was pretty good, but I would not consider it a real Fiorentina. The rest of the food was not very good. The worst part was the service. I did not feel welcome at all. I asked for a wine glass for my wine and after they looked at me weird, they gave me a wine glass that was super dusty. In short, I would not recommend.

The place is small and welcoming, with an informal and genuine atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a flatbread prepared with fresh, well-selected ingredients. The bread is crispy just right, and the fillings range from the great Tuscan classics to more particular combinations, all well balanced in flavour. I tried a schiacciata with finocchiona, pecorino and honey, and it was an explosion of flavour. The selection of wines and craft beers is also remarkable, perfect to accompany the meal. The service is fast and friendly, with a staff who transmits passion for their work. The prices are honest, especially considering the quality of the ingredients. In short, if you are in Siena and want to eat something good without too many formalities, this place is a perfect choice!

20/03/2025: In 1990 we spent a week visiting Valliano. My brother and I ate four portions of Pischi Noodles every lunchtime. These noodles are still an important part of our lives today. The owner said we should please let us know as they would then prepare more Pichi Thanks for the Pischi😃😋

15/03/2025: Excellent service and quality food. My wife and I were looking for a lunch spot and ended up here. The service was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was also outstanding. The olive oil they put on the brushetta tasted like liquid gold. Everything we got here was wonderful. If I had to nit-pick my least favorite parts was the house wine, which tasted metallic like it wasn't fully clarified when bottled, and the atmosphere wasn't my favorite. That said, I would still recommend this to anyone in the area.

We took a platter of cold cuts as an appetizer, good cured meats and really excellent ham. As a first course, pasta with ragù According to a mixed grill Cadfe wine and water. Everything really good and genuine If you are on the road it is worth stopping and experiencing excellent value for money and service.
