It was great! Tasty food, full of flavor. Portions weren't extremely large, but big enough. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Delicious local wine!

We went for dinner on a hot August day, a super experience. Excellent food, mixed platter, delicious pici cacio e pepe and with white ragù, top service, excellent girl who served us, very kind, I would definitely go back and recommend it to everyone. It's a unique place, but they are the ones that give the most satisfaction!

I tried two crostoni, and both were truly exceptional: carefully prepared, rich in flavor, and showcasing local products. An added bonus that I particularly appreciated was the owner's hospitality. A person of rare kindness, helpful and attentive to the needs of his customers. He even recommended the best place to sit to avoid the heat—a small gesture that may seem trivial, but it demonstrates great care for the guest and is absolutely not to be taken for granted. Baccano is a classic restaurant where quality food and hospitality meet, creating a pleasant and authentic experience. If you find yourself in Pienza, definitely stop by: treat yourself to an excellent lunch or dinner in a welcoming atmosphere and let the flavors of Tuscany guide you. You won't regret it!

We ordered two first courses for €16 each. They were very good, but it's a shame the portions were so small; for a €16 dish, I expected a larger portion. For two first courses, a Coke, a water, and a tiramisu, we spent €50. Excessive, if not excessive, considering the portions and the service. I wouldn't go back.

Honestly, I'd never come across a place like this. I've traveled all over Italy and much of Europe, but a place that perfectly combined a love of good things, the quality of the products, and the creative, engaging kindness of those who accompanied us on this fantastic journey of pleasure and simplicity was something we'd never found. It's a small place, though there's still plenty of seating in the alley next door. The brilliant Guia (and "brilliant" doesn't do her justice) gave us a feeling I thought was lost: the joy of sharing the wonderful aromas and flavors of this Tuscan land, making us love even more all that's already beautiful and delicious in these lands. This sharing shines through in the countless messages left by patrons, making us love places like this even more, true refueling stations for the heart and soul.
