La Chiusa In Torrita di siena

Beautiful country hotel at the foot of the village of Montefollonico. Just a short distance from Pienza and Montepulciano. Spacious, carefully furnished rooms. Excellent restaurant and beautiful pool. Perfect for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Tuscany. We also had a fun cooking class on traditional Pici.

It's "my" restaurant for special occasions. Even though I go there often, I still can't find a single flaw. Must try.

One of my fav places in the world. Pure relax, best food (and best Pici al Ragù ever), swimmingpool, olive trees and everything you need. Really amazing.

Lunch at this agriturismo with a simply stunning view of the valley. The day was perfect, and we chose to eat outside to fully enjoy the view. The staff welcomed us with great kindness, and as we browsed the menu, we found several interesting options. We started with a delicious Chianina beef tartare, truly excellent. For our first taste, we tried the "fisarmonica," or "accordion," paccheri with duck ragù, carrot, orange, and ginger: a balanced, original, and delicious dish. Given the high quality of the cuisine, we decided to continue with the pigeon, a perfect choice, cooked to perfection. We concluded the meal with a truly unique dessert: olive leaf and white chocolate Bavarian cream, with almond mousse and olive oil brittle, surprising and beautifully executed. The bill is slightly above average, but absolutely in keeping with the quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail, the view, and the courtesy of the staff. A place I recommend without hesitation.

La Chiusa was an amazing place for vacation. Extremely relaxing, and the service was great. The staff worked with me leading up to the trip to plan a great itinerary. I highly recommend the ATV tour and the cooking class. The views are gorgeous.

We had an amazing time at La Chuisa, being very new to Italy, the staff were very helpful, especially Andrea who went above and beyond to look after us. The views and location amazing! Close to the little village of Montefellonico. The cooking class with Nonna was so memorable! Our only issues was when we called the hotel for assistance and couldn’t get a hold of them a couple of times, Also no tea and coffee in the room.

We had a lovely stay for one night being on the way to Rome. Great service on arrival at 8pm. Very comfortable bed. Nice big shower. The food was excellent and the service very friendly and professional in the Resto as well.

I had the most amazing time hosting a retreat for my business at La Chiusa. It was the most magical time. The owners were incredible, and the staff perfectly helpful and kind. We did many of the in house activities like olive oil tasting, truffle hunting, cooking classes etc. and we absolutely loved every single experience. If you plan a trip to La Chiusa, you will not be disappointed. It was a trip of a lifetime!
