15/03/2026: We had a "little journey" platter with mixed cured meats and cheeses; tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles; and pici with wild boar ragù. The platter was very good, but the first courses weren't so good... the pasta was cooked completely incorrectly, and it wasn't very tasty. We also ordered dessert, a cantucci tiramisu... average! Simple but very pleasant service. The seating was uncomfortable. Overall, a pleasant dinner, but room for improvement. We spent €88.10.

14/03/2026: Giulia, Passion for Wine A very charming, quaint place, not very large but with a pleasant atmosphere. We had truly delicious pici with ragù, very fresh pasta, excellent wine, and, to finish, cantucci with Vin Santo. All this was crowned by Giulia's professionalism, friendliness, and smile, who also beautifully introduced us to all the local wines. Highly recommended 😊

10/03/2026: Visited a few days ago, very nice place and good food. It's a shame that, having ordered a Florentine steak, it wasn't shown to us raw and was sold for 1.2 kg when we actually didn't even see it weigh 1 kg. It would be much more appropriate to bring it to the table raw and, if possible, with scales, as is done in many restaurants in Tuscany. We won't be returning.

17/03/2026: On Saturday evening, we had dinner at this restaurant, which we'd known for years. We ate well; the only complaint was the "cacio e pepe" pici, which was just cheese; there was no pepper at all, but that can happen. The only downside, however, was the bill, which I hadn't checked at checkout because we had guests. When I returned to the hotel and read the receipt, I noticed that the "welcome appetizer" brought to the table while we waited for the appetizer was ultimately charged as a "peasant cover charge." We're talking only €3 per person, but it seemed like something the restaurant offered while we waited for the main course. What really shocked me, however, was that they charged us €17 for three (three in total) pieces of pork ribs (the dish was listed on the receipt as "ribs and sausages - only ribs"). For the sake of clarity, when my wife ordered, she had asked for four spare ribs, in addition to the "rosemary tagliata" (priced at €18.00). After the tagliata, she was brought a small plate with three pieces of spare ribs (instead of the four requested, but for goodness sake, it can happen). It was really just a taste, not even a half portion. And this "taste" cost us €17. That seems like a huge outrage to me. And I don't think it was an oversight on the part of the restaurant, because the dish was listed on the bill as "ribs and sausages - only spare ribs"... You did a good job; it's a real shame to lose out on these things.

21/11/2025: A wonderful experience! We went last Sunday for lunch. We had a wonderful meal, excellent food, a quiet and welcoming atmosphere, and very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended. (Thanks so much to the waiter who gave me a bottle of wine 😜, much appreciated.)

08/03/2026: On our way back from Florence, we stopped for lunch at this delightful trattoria. We enjoyed typical dishes with a true Tuscan flavor, from crostini to pici pasta, and an excellent Chianina stew. All accompanied by an exquisite house wine, of which we purchased two bottles to take home. The owner's friendliness and kindness were an added bonus. Highly recommended, especially for its proximity to the highway toll booth.

31/12/2025: Nice place. Easy to get to. Exit the highway at Bettolle. Excellent Tuscan cuisine. The chickpea and spinach soup was creamy and amazing. Pici all'aglione (arugula with garlic), excellent chicken liver crostini, Chianina stew, and a Chimina burger, truly excellent. Water, wine, and dessert. €33 per person. Friendly and approachable owner. We'll definitely be back if we pass through.
