16/12/2025: We spent a delightful evening in the village of Serre di Rapolano. The food was fabulous and delicious, as was the family atmosphere and excellent service. The daily specials menu is a distinctive and positive feature that makes the most of Tuscan flavors for each season. Definitely worth a try and we'll be back in the summer!

06/12/2025: I tried the brunch and will do it again. Very good savory options, a few more vegetables wouldn't hurt, but everything was good. The desserts are very sweet for me, but I've only tried two: cynnamon rolls and tiramisu.

05/12/2025: Calm atmosphere and a nice place to relax, drink tea, and enjoy a dessert! (And more! Brunch, aperitif) The service is truly excellent, and the entire staff is super friendly. I just recommend reserving a table, especially on weekends, because you might not get a seat, haha ​​(but you don't have to wait long for a spot, either). We'll be back here more often! 18/08/2026: A centrally located restaurant in the heart of Montalcino's historic center, offering quality, authentic Tuscan cuisine. We visited on a Sunday for lunch (reservations made by phone) and all the dishes we ordered far exceeded our expectations. The pinci all'aglione and tagliatelle ai funghi were excellent, the guinea fowl was delicious, and the desserts (torta della nonna and biscotti served with Vin Santo) deserve special mention. The dishes were delicious, even shared to sample the various specialties, and the value was excellent. The view from the restaurant's terrace was beautiful. A place we'll definitely return to.

13/08/2026: In Val d'Orcia, there are dozens and dozens of characteristic restaurants, and unfortunately, if you're choosing based solely on reviews, this one isn't one of them. The location is rather anonymous, and the menu is the same as in any tourist restaurant... decent dishes, very good service.

11/08/2026: We chose this restaurant based on numerous positive reviews and the menu published by the establishment itself two months ago, which listed four first courses (pici all'aglione, pici al ragù val d'Orcia, vegetarian ravioli, and tagliolini al tartufo). When we arrived, we were in for an unpleasant surprise! The menu had been halved to just two first courses: pici al sugo e stracciatella and trofie al pesto (and two second courses). This happens in the height of summer, mid-August. So, in addition to the limited options, all the typical dishes one would expect from a restaurant of this kind in a small village in the Val d'Orcia were removed. We were left with a bitter taste in our mouths, especially since the dishes we ordered were truly delicious, the ingredients were top-quality, and the waiters were attentive and kind.

17/07/2026: I recommend this place where we went today for the excellent meat, the exceptional sandwich, and then we even managed to try the truly delicate ricotta coccole dessert with walnuts and honey. Take a stroll around Chianciano's historic center with its beautiful views and then savor this place's delicacies. It alone is worth the trip. The staff is truly attentive.

22/06/2026: Excellent food, tried both the appetizers and sandwiches. Friendly staff. Dishes are freshly cooked; you have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. I recommend the Amaro 30 erbe.

08/08/2026: Very relaxed atmosphere. The pici with Chianina ragù were al dente and had plenty of sauce. The tagliata was good, perhaps served on a too-large plate, but the quality was truly excellent. Wine… well, it's hard to go wrong in Montepulciano.

The atmosphere is meticulously maintained, with subtle background music and excellent food... the 5 stars are well-deserved and partly a sign of encouragement for those who, at their age, have put their all into the game!

22/06/2026: A truly excellent experience. We ordered the Tuscan cured meats and cheese platter and a glass of wine, and in addition to the quality of the food and wine, the kindness and courtesy of the waitress was noteworthy. Fantastic quality and price.

26/07/2026: The pizza is prepared in the typical "Naple style", with a thick border, it's well dressed and tonight was perfectly backed! Friendly and helpful staff. Toilet was clean, although there are some steps from the dining room that do not allow the use by a person on a wheelchair. Probably there is another toilet specifically dedicated to those people but Ive not seen it. Anyway I'll come here again, definitely.

05/07/2026: Catastrophic, I have no words. We have been coming here for over 5 years, I wrote a glowing review 2 years ago and now I have to change it. Where do I even start. After receiving our starters it look almost an hour for our mains to arrive, they only arrived almost 10 minutes after I asked the waitress and she said 1 minute for their arrival. When the meat arrived…… the lamb chops: basically all fat, had as much meat and my daughter could consume as maybe the palm of her hand, the meat was quite dry and not pleasant to eat. She ordered the vegetables as a side, they were so salty, impossible to eat. My husband also had the lamb chops and had the same problem. As a side he ordered the mixed salad, which never arrived and they tried to charge us for it. I ordered the tagliata, half the meat was veins to the point I had to leave half of it. I ordered the fries which looked like they had been fried yesterday, this morning and then microwaved. My daughter wanted a dessert originally but changed her mind after this food. The service… where to start on that. The waitors look like they dont know what they are doing. Im sorry but if my table is sitting for almost an hour without any food, that should have been noticed. Our wine glasses sat empty for 25 minutes before my husband decided to it himself. When we went to pay, I told the lady our lack of enthusiasm and satisfaction with our meal and she could NOT have cared less. She brushed us off and seemed like she cared more about us paying and leaving quickly then leaving satisfied. Will not be returning. Very upsetting as like i said we came here every year for over 5 years, but this quality, food and service is disgraceful.

05/07/2026: Save your money, your time, and your appetite. Dissapointing to the maximum. I have been coming to this restaurant for years yet after this experience that will finally come to an end. I’m never returning and you should not come either. Everything was fine in the beginning but after our starters were taken away, the nightmare began. It took almost an hour for our mains to arrive and they only arrived after I had to remind the waitress that we existed. Our wine glasses sat empty for over 20 minutes before we had to refill them ourselves. Once the mains arrived….. no words. Lamb chops: full of fat, dry, enough meat to maybe satisfy a lizard, maybe a large chihuahua definitely not a weasel. The vegetables as a side so salty, felt like I was eating a block of salt. The beef tagliata, so veiny and boarder like inedible, I think only a starving fox would be satisfied with this meat. Half had to be left. The French fries looked dryer than the Sahara desert, definately not fresh. The salad never arrived and they tried to charge us for it. When I raised this while paying the bill the waitress did not care. At all. Seemed like she wanted us to get out more than caring about us as paying customers. Don’t come here. Save your money.
