01/08/2025: Trovato per caso è stata un' esperienza straordinaria, l'acquacotta è buonissima, genuina , delicatissima . Cucina di altri tempi fatta egregiamente dalla proprietaria che prende le ordinazioni , cucina i piatti e li serve a tavola . Claudia è una donna pazzesca, ti consiglia , ti spiega come fa i piatti e i dolci . Beh dovete venirci e provare e avere pazienza perché è sola ma ti coccola con il suo olio biologico da mettere sul pane e crea dipendenza. .Super Claudia eccezionale

30/07/2025: Un posto fantastico, si mangia benissimo! Ho ordinato la pasta e sembrava fatta in casa (probabilmente lo è), la signora è gentilissima e fa tutto, cucina, cassa e servizio a tavolo. Bisogna aspettare un po’ ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. E raro trovare un posto così che fa le cose “come una volta”. Non è un posto turistico ( si sente dalla qualità del cibo), ottimi i cantucci e la carne anche! Torneremo sicuramente!!

28/05/2025: The pici all’aglione (pasta made of water and flour and seasoned with a tomato sauce with garlic) are excellent, as is the acquacotta (a typical local soup). The Florentine steak, strictly rare, is also excellent; the desserts at the end of the meal are also good.

02/07/2025: Personally, I did not find my experience at this restaurant positive. I had dinner with my girlfriend, we ordered 2 first courses (aglione and ragù) and STOP (...)! Little choice of vegetarian dishes, not very extensive wine list, with a fairly large markup on wines. First courses cost 14 euros (...) both for pici all'aglione and for tagliatelle al ragù. Very edible dishes, but nothing exciting in my opinion, objectively I also expected slightly more substantial courses, given that we are not talking about a haute cuisine restaurant. Very pushy service (especially when we were choosing the wine) and not very punctual. Cover charge made without bread, but that's okay. I only took 2 first courses and 1 bottle (and that's already too much). With more effort and a few precautions it could be much better.

26/06/2025: The place is really welcoming. Very characteristic. We took first and second courses and we were really satisfied. The cost of the dinner was average. We like it!

06/07/2025: Pizzeria Il Buongustaio – Sorano (GR) A pleasant little discovery in the heart of Sorano. Il Buongustaio offers a really well-made Roman-style pizza: thin, crispy to perfection and with a light but tasty dough. Balanced and good quality toppings, perfect for those who love the “scrocchiarella” as it should be. The atmosphere is simple, informal and suitable for everyone, even families. The service was quick and courteous: we were welcomed immediately, the table was ready in an instant and the orders arrived without a hitch. Despite the short waiting times, the staff was still kind enough to apologize for the wait — a rare and much appreciated gesture. The bill is absolutely honest, well below the average of many tourist places. Excellent value for money, without a doubt. Also convenient to reach: the pizzeria overlooks a small square where it is easy to find parking (be careful, it is a public parking lot and not a private one of the place — but it is right there a stone's throw away, very practical). The only flaw - but I point it out more as a reminder than as a criticism - when it came to paying the bill it was not possible to pay with the POS. Nothing serious, but it is good to plan on having some cash, just to avoid surprises. In short: good pizza, fast service, friendly staff and fair prices. A recommended stop if you are in the area and are looking for a simple, good and stress-free dinner.

01/06/2025: Pizza discreta ma personale poco accordante. Arrivati alle 21:20 e chiesto un posto per 2 + cane. Disponibilità solo interna dove si moriva letteralmente soffocati dal caldo e dall'odore del forno per pizza. Fuori 2 tavoli occupati ed uno dei quali era al dolce; chiediamo di attendere per poterci sedere fuori e ci viene risposto "non si alzano per ora, stanno mangiando e poi alle 22 chiudiamo!" NO COMMENT. Ordiniamo 2 pizze da asporto e le abbiamo mangiate fuori al muretto mentre vedevamo il tavolo che era al dolce liberarsi! Ah non erano arrivate le 22 ancora. Altra pecca? Pos non funzionante !!!!!

07/07/2025: A truly enjoyable experience. We'll be back. Crostinis are a must. Pasta is very good. Idyllic location, great terrace, and very friendly staff. Menu available in German and English upon request. It was fun. Bringing a dog is no problem 👍

27/06/2025: What can I say: on a 7-day vacation, we had dinner in this little restaurant, 5 nights. It smells like home, of real, good and genuine things like once upon a time. Excellent raw materials and Rosita, the owner, is a superlative cook!!!! As is Paolo with his friendliness and cordiality. The best restaurant in Argentario and not only!!!! You must try the fried anchovies, the homemade pasta and the magnificent desserts always rigorously prepared by Rosita.

30/05/2025: My wife and I had lunch yesterday and we were passing through as vacationers. Very kind staff, good and well-prepared food...even the dessert... We also bought some Tuscan products since they sell them and they have a wide range of wines that they also sell..I recommend it...

18/07/2025: I'm sorry, because you can see the care taken in this place. I wandered in by chance, but that won't happen again. A fillet steak, an appetizer, and half a liter of house wine cost €50.50. Honestly, I didn't notice this quality. In my other reviews, I've praised other establishments, but unfortunately, this one didn't blow me away. In my opinion, just look around and you'll find places in the immediate vicinity that deserve a 5 out of 5.
