We went to this quaint but ultimately very touristy place. The food was good, the platter beautifully presented, but cured meats like Milanese salami are definitely not available in Grosseto! On the menu, there's a rib-eye steak for €40 per kilo and a Florentine steak for €60 per kilo. This difference is unjustifiable, especially since there wasn't a rib-eye steak, so if you want the steak, you get the Florentine steak or nothing. When I asked to see the steak before cooking it, they forgot the weight of the steak I received, which was very tender. We had asked for two well-done ones. They also forgot the good sweet potatoes, which were just so-so. We had asked to take away the leftover appetizer, but they forgot that. Perhaps a little more attention and transparency would help, because not all customers pretend nothing is happening, and the fact that it's by the sea doesn't allow them to be so superficial in their favor, because maybe next time I'll go elsewhere.

Had dinner with my partner during our vacation here in Tuscany.
For appetizers, we had excellent bruschetta and a platter of brigand's cheese (and I'm not a fan of livers, so the crostini spread was exceptional). Then we had a grilled meat for two; we expected something a little better, but it wasn't bad. For dessert, we had tiramisu and a mascarpone cream with berries, which were delicious.

We chose this lovely restaurant based on the reviews. We could have gotten a table, but unfortunately, we couldn't bring our dog inside. The service was very friendly, and we had to accept their decision. It was a real shame because the restaurant was truly beautiful.

Four of us had dinner last night, exploring the entire menu: appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, and liqueurs. The owner is very friendly and generous with suggestions and explanations of the local dishes, which I highly recommend you try! I didn't like the vegetarian appetizer, the cured meat one was okay, and the wild boar mortadella was very good. The pappardelle were very salty. We only had the first course, so I can't give a definitive review; perhaps it was an oversight in the kitchen. The legendary Maremmana is absolutely superb: order it plain, without parmesan or mushrooms. The desserts (Tutta della Nonna and cheesecake) are also very good, homemade, and highly recommended. The liqueurs (free, thank you) are very good, especially the one in the bottle (you'll know when you see it) is spectacular. Oh, and I forgot about the house wine, a pleasant Morellino.

We stayed in this area for four nights and decided to dine here twice. Recommended by a friend, we ordered their meat, which was absolutely the best meat I've ever eaten in my entire life. The staff were very friendly, it felt like family.
