Four of us had dinner last night, exploring the entire menu: appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, and liqueurs. The owner is very friendly and generous with suggestions and explanations of the local dishes, which I highly recommend you try! I didn't like the vegetarian appetizer, the cured meat one was okay, and the wild boar mortadella was very good. The pappardelle were very salty. We only had the first course, so I can't give a definitive review; perhaps it was an oversight in the kitchen. The legendary Maremmana is absolutely superb: order it plain, without parmesan or mushrooms. The desserts (Tutta della Nonna and cheesecake) are also very good, homemade, and highly recommended. The liqueurs (free, thank you) are very good, especially the one in the bottle (you'll know when you see it) is spectacular. Oh, and I forgot about the house wine, a pleasant Morellino.

We were in this characteristic but ultimately very touristy place, the food was good, the platter was beautifully presented, but cured meats like Milanese salami in Grosseto are definitely not! On the menu, there is a rib-eye steak for 40 euros per kilo and a Florentine steak for 60 euros per kilo. This difference is not justifiable, especially since the rib-eye steak was not there, so if you want the steak, you either get the Florentine steak or nothing. When I asked to see the steak before cooking it, they forgot about the weight of the steak I received, cut very soft, we had asked for two well-done, they also forgot about the good sweet potatoes, so-so, we had asked to take away the leftover appetizer but they forgot that, perhaps a little more attention and transparency would help because not all customers pretend nothing is happening and the fact that it is on the sea does not allow them to be so superficial in their favor because maybe next time I will go elsewhere.

We stayed in this area for four nights and decided to dine here twice. Recommended by a friend, we ordered their meat, which was absolutely the best meat I've ever eaten in my entire life. The staff were very friendly, it felt like family.

Excellent food in terms of quality and variety. The house wine (Morellino Rosso) was also excellent.
Excellent service and willingness to accommodate any request. Nothing was too familiar or welcoming. The meats are worth a look, as they are nothing short of exquisite.
Highly recommended without hesitation.

Excellent food, quick and friendly service. The meat was cooked to perfection and of excellent quality, the tripe was delicious, and the desserts were excellent. The homemade ravioli had a wonderful filling; you could taste the nutmeg, and the ricotta was a little coarse, just how I like it. I only had one glass of wine, which I enjoyed very much.
If I really had to add anything, I'd say I would have preferred the grilled pecorino cheese to be a little hotter, but it was still delicious!
I would return and recommend it!

Rustic, typically Maremma restaurant. Excellent cuisine. Fantastic cured meats, superb Alberto Sordi pici.
Friendly and welcoming staff (the blonde lady in particular).
Highly recommended.
