Even though the restaurant's atmosphere is a bit dated, the food is authentic, and you rarely find dishes this simple yet so good anywhere else. The staff is friendly, and it always feels like coming home!

It's like stepping into a country trattoria from the 1970s: everything has remained intact! Located on the Siena-Grosseto highway near Campagnatico, this family-run trattoria, where time stands still, offers a limited but quality menu. Excellent tortelli, tagliatelle, and pappardelle, all homemade, are excellent: the first courses are highly recommended. For the second course, the wild boar stew is flavorful but a bit tough, but you can also choose guinea fowl, chicken, rabbit, or tripe. Among the desserts, the zuppa inglese is a must for nostalgics. Service is slow...but relentless, and the friendliness surpasses the wait.

A trattoria of yesteryear. Everything they make is homemade: excellent tortelli and pappardelle, superb tripe and rabbit. I always have a great time, and I'm always happy to stop by.

09/04/2026: We had dinner at Ceccottino's restaurant, and they even helped us find a room there, truly last minute. The dinner and overnight stay were perfect, both in terms of the hospitality and the quality of the food. Highly recommended!

27/01/2026: Fabulous!!! A truly excellent experience at Tana dei Brilli in Massa Marittima. Fresh, high-quality food, with an excellent selection and creation of cheeses. The wild boar sauce with polenta was simply exquisite, rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone who loves authentic, carefully prepared cuisine. I will definitely be back!
13/01/2026: The name suggests a lot of drinking, but that's entirely up to you. In short: a charming, intimate spot in a beautiful town. Limited seating makes this restaurant ideal for a romantic dinner. Excellent meals at reasonable prices. Vegetarian options are also available. The gnudi are excellent. At the end of the meal, you can sample a bitter liqueur made by the local pharmacy according to an ancient recipe. Recommended!
