09/08/2024: A restaurant that has been frequented for some time now and I have always appreciated the level of service including the precious presence of the reception which offers assistance during the booking phase and entrance to the restaurant without distracting the dining room staff. The dishes based on fish and meat specialties from the Maremma are a delicacy. Another important aspect is that it is a structure organized to serve gluten-free dishes and people with celiac disease can enjoy delicious dishes. Preparation is necessary and I inform you that the restaurant, being inside the castle walls, can only be reached on foot. I recommend comfortable shoes for ladies.

08/08/2024: Excellent experience! We stopped on the way back from the natural waterfalls of Saturnia inspired by the warm atmosphere outside. A pleasant surprise inside both for the whole environment and for the menu. Fresh first courses prepared with great skill and delicious, excellent choice of local meats. All the very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff make you feel at ease as if you were at home, in particular Mirna's warm personality who recommended the best dishes and offered us an excellent wine. Excellent price quality.

01/09/2024: Discovered in the covid era after the renovation. It's the third time we've been there and others will follow. We left specifically from Viareggio, over 200 km, to enjoy the beauty of the Uccellina park and the food of this place that enhances the local catch. Tradition, innovation, location and value for money make it a special place.

17/07/2024: The food was fine, particularly if you like fish! No other alternatives on the menu but seafood. Best dishes were the pasta based ones. Everything was a bit chaotic timing wise though, all coming out at different times. What put us off most though was the waiter/owner was constantly smoking, including taking his lit cigarette into the kitchen and it hanging out of his mouth while serving food. The whole thing felt off and not what we were expecting at all. It was clearly very popular though with no spare tables we could see so perhaps an off night?

24/07/2024: Happened a bit by chance, I ate a divine spaghetti with clams and other fish first courses also looked really inviting. One of those places you wish you had at home.

23/08/2024: This place is simply amazing. Tatiana fixed a delicious cake to my mom without booking. Peculiar deliciousness thanks to good balance of sugar and other ingredients. It feels so light despite it was a cake! Highly recommended!

11/08/2024: Excellent pastries and desserts: the great preparation and passion behind the products offered and the quality of the raw materials are evident. An exercise to keep in mind for those passing through Manciano. The young daughter in charge of sales and preparing an excellent cappuccino is very good and friendly. We will return whenever we can. 02/08/2024: Small but welcoming place, very friendly and helpful staff. We were a large group and for this reason the owners kindly made an exception to the rule and closed the place later. Rich dishes with traditional flavours.

18/08/2024: A place with clear ambitions... and which would certainly have significant potential... but where there is a lot to review. We booked and arrived promptly at 8.30pm ... but they took our order only after a good 15 - 20 minutes of waiting ... and in any case after several and repeated looks of disapproval towards the waitress, because they hadn't yet asked us if in the in the meantime we wanted at least some water or bread. The starters finally arrived at 9.15pm: both the seared octopus and the sardines were very good. When at 10pm we were almost about to give up on the first courses and were about to get up, they finally arrived... decidedly too late: the gnocchi were good, even if not very hot... it was a pity that the octopus in the pasta was so spicy that it completely hid the taste of the octopus itself! We felt embarrassed when they asked us if everything was going well and did we want dessert or coffee. The owner, who took the order and brought us the dishes, never apologized for the delays, not even at the checkout. We had high expectations but instead we were deeply disappointed: sometimes it would be better to behave less and/or do as other places in the area do which, for the same price, with greater simplicity and concreteness are much more satisfying!

14/08/2024: Siamo arrivati in questa trattoria molto accogliente dove abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Le portate a partire dalle polpettine come antipasto, primi, secondi, contorni e dolci a lasciarci senza parole per la bontà .. da notare i titolari di questa trattoria come curano il loro locale in ogni piccolo dettaglio . Sicuramente se avremo occasione torneremo visto che siamo arrivati lì per caso tornando verso casa nostra, l'aquila...grazie per questa bellissima esperienza!

13/08/2024: Excellent quality food prepared in a seemingly simple way but which enhances the local raw materials!! Minimal environment but refined in every detail which gives guests relaxing comfort!! In the Camelia room, an empathetic but discreet and very professional presence!! Advised!!!

31/07/2024: Unfortunately, the quality of meat is really not good at all, regardless of whether it is raw or cooked, it is not appetizing and difficult to chew. The only really good thing was the beer and the potatoes.

15/08/2024: The owner is young but very experienced, an excellent cook and host. The food is of excellent quality and very plentiful. You will find innovative dishes but upon request he will also prepare traditional dishes. The prices are fair and adequate for the quality of the products. I recommend him and invite you to trust him because you won't regret it. I am very satisfied and will definitely return.

24/04/2024: On holiday with friends, we had dinner with three dishes each. Everything was delicious, the cuttlefish is highly recommended! The coccetti offer the possibility of enjoying different courses with an excellent quality (excellent) / price ratio. Truly recommended!

03/07/2024: Very nice and welcoming place! Parking a stone's throw from the venue (free). The owners and the waitress are very kind and polite; They make you feel like one of the family!! In summer there is also the possibility of eating outdoors. Phenomenal pizza, low (Roman style) not high so to speak. Worth going there to spend an evening with friends or relatives 🥰.
