07/05/2024: Best restaurant and the friendliest staff. We went out for dinner all week and tried a different restaurant each time, La Fortezza was head and shoulders above the rest, certainly the best! And what a pity that it was closed during the week, otherwise we would definitely have gone there again And don't forget the great location where it is located! You are certainly impressed.

11/05/2024: On a summer evening it is wonderful to eat outside with the sunset. In winter very comfortable inside. You can't go wrong here, you eat well.

18/03/2024: I had been missing from this hotel for some time but I must say that I found it to be extremely improved, actually once I asked for information I learned that new management had taken over. I highly recommend it for a number of reasons, first and foremost the quality/price which is undoubtedly the best in the area. What I liked most, in addition to the location surrounded by greenery but a few km from the sea, is how the rooms are kept, despite being a 3 star it offers 4 star services. Excellent cleanliness, spacious rooms, highly efficient heating, a well-stocked mini bar. Perfect swimming pool with a robot active even in the month of March (therefore in the low season) and it is a pleasure to look at it (our room on the 1st floor overlooked the swimming pool, very romantic! The care of the host was also pleasant, we arrived for breakfast late but they looked after us very well, my partner asked for scrambled eggs which were served instantly. Furthermore, we promised ourselves to try the restaurant which has a tempting menu! Last pleasant note is the fact that the owners (Ricci family) has a farm of the same name in Fonteblanda and in addition to wine they also produce very good oil which we did not miss out on. We will be back very soon.

10/12/2023: Tullio da decenni è sinonimo di qualità e simpatia . I fratelli Gaspare e Gianmaria che gestiscono sono eccellenti eredi di Tullio che però continua a elargire la sua saggezza culinaria di oltre 50 anni di ristorazione. Bravi . Ci rivediamo a marzo amico miei

26/11/2023: Locale carino con veranda e bellavista su Capalbio mare, i piatti assaggiati erano molto buoni, abbiamo iniziato con i tipici crostini toscani, a seguire pici al ragù di chianina e coniglio al morellino di scansano con contorno di carciofi alla mentuccia. Ogni piatto cucinato con maestria aveva un ottimo sapore. I prezzi sono nella media.

15/01/2024: We were at Orto 219 in 2020 and today. The house wine is very tasty and the food was again great with products directly from the property. Only recommended. The service and boss were super friendly. The boss can also speak English, which makes it easier if you don't speak Italian very well. We were also able to take our dog (old German Shepherd) with us without any problems. It is important to make a reservation as it is always fully booked. The three of us paid 110 euros today. Price performance is great. Thank you for the lovely evening.

01/12/2023: I booked a table for dinner at the end of the summer season, intrigued by how crowded the place was during the summer. The more or less elaborate dishes certainly do not justify the prices. Personal opinion when I see fish mousses and creams in restaurants I don't like it... not to mention the cream, and hear excessively sweet tomato sauces?!? However, it is a place for "summer tourists". The dishes are not bad, but good fish dishes are something else entirely.

10/05/2024: Restaurant in the center of Pitigliano. Tables both inside and outside under the loggias and under a veranda. Very courteous and helpful staff. Before starting the meal they offered us a small welcome portion of tomato soup, which was delicious. Very good dishes. Fair prices. Starter, first course and dessert €40 per person with water, wine and coffee.

02/05/2024: I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the lady at my hotel and I really enjoyed it. The place is small and well looked after, the staff are very friendly and the food is good. I tried the pici with octopus sauce and the homemade chocolate mousse. Good value for money. I advise.

01/09/2023: Absolutely stunning location in the heart of the Maremma countryside. Pool is beautiful, food made in loco is delicious, delicious cocktails and very good service. There are several animals kept in total freedom across the fields and hills around the property including donkeys, native cows, horses, ponies and chickens. Absolute must go :) #wewillbebacksoon!
