21/11/2025: A mouth-watering trattoria! We were looking for a restaurant in Grosseto and found this little gem of a place! All the dishes chosen and recommended by Marco, the perfect host, were exceptional! The platter of quality cured meats and cheeses, the excellent pici cacio e pepe, and the acqua cotta, a typical Maremma dish, were exceptional! The baked vegetable flan was so delicious, I could have eaten two more! Compliments to the kitchen and to Marco, who was kind and welcoming! The price was right!

21/11/2025: The food is excellent: fish, meat, and desserts, all perfectly cooked and made with top-quality ingredients. The pizza is delicious, with an easy-to-digest dough and excellent wood-fired cooking. The girls in the dining room welcome you with kindness and professionalism.

28/10/2025: We visited the restaurant with friends on our way back from a day trip. From the outside, we had no idea what a gem was waiting for us inside. The very cozy atmosphere combined with the warm welcome of the waitress immediately made us feel that this place was a great choice. The beautifully set tables and the lit fire in the fireplace give this place a unique charm. The appetizers, main courses and dessert, which I couldn't leave without, were absolutely phenomenal. I'm sure that no matter what you choose from the menu, you won't make a mistake! Grazie mille! ❤️🙏🏼

11/11/2025: I hate being someone that complains, but this really wasn’t a good experience. It was a struggle to even be acknowledged walking into the door, and then experienced lack luster service at the table. I eventually just walked in and ordered a sandwich to go, and paid. And then waited 15 minutes while I smelt it burning in the toaster oven. I’m pretty sure the girl that took my order put it in, and then got off her shift and left. Eventually I walked back up to the counter and was able grab someone’s attention who clearly was embarrassed that I had been forgotten. He handed me my burnt sandwich in a napkin, and I left and immediately just tossed it. Thankfully there’s a kebab spot about a 5 min walk around corner with a super sweet employee that made me something good to eat. *updated to add that while the owner implied that I left a bad review on the wrong restaurant, I did not. The place I ate a kebab at is called Istanbul Kebab & pizzeria, and it’s a 3 min walk from Bar Giulia.

06/11/2025: A place to linger, right by the sea; note that it's November and you can sit outside; extremely friendly staff; super delicious cornetti with pistachio cream; a cute three-legged tomcat kept us company – what more could life offer?

04/12/2025: Highly recommended. Warm atmosphere, friendly people, and top-notch food. The pici are a Maremma blessing, an experience worth repeating. The main courses are excellent, and the freshly made tiramisu is a real treat. I hope to return again and again.

13/11/2025: We've been twice recently. The food was good, but the prices were way above average for the area, and the ATM was out of service both times. We paid cash, and never got a receipt...

09/09/2025: Beautiful and welcoming place with kind managers, there were 3 of us and we took different platters and they were something impeccable both in quality and quantity recommended and as far as we are concerned we will return perhaps in the cold season so as to perhaps increase the delicacies to eat

13/11/2025: 10/10!!! Delicious ice cream, every flavor perfectly sweet and creamy. Some of the best we've ever had, and we've eaten a lot of ice cream in different countries. The waitress was very nice.

17/09/2025: Fish fit for a king, but keep it simple! When I go to Follonica, I always look for simple places where you can eat fish properly. This is one of those trattorias, without too many frills, with old-fashioned decor and a genuine atmosphere. I have to be honest: when it comes to fresh fish, they have few rivals. I had an octopus appetizer that melted in your mouth and a textbook grill, the kind that tastes of the sea. A friend who was with me, however, fared worse with a rice entree: it was overcooked, it seemed reheated, something you don't expect in a place like this. The atmosphere is lively, quite noisy and constantly coming and going, but that's the beauty of real trattorias. The staff is friendly, perhaps a little chaotic when it's busy, but always friendly. My advice: go there for the fresh fish, grilled or fried, and you won't go wrong. The price is fair.

14/09/2025: Fantastic.....it's part of my life now...I've been here at least once a year for 45 years....I drove 250 km last Saturday to eat the best lobster spaghetti on the planet...

28/11/2025: A well-known and popular location not only in Grosseto but throughout the Maremma region, well-deserved fame not only for the quality of its pizza but also for its dishes, especially seafood. The staff is friendly, empathetic, and helpful. The homemade desserts are a must, both for their deliciousness and quantity. Prices are decidedly moderate.
