The place is very simple and unpretentious, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it: the dishes are truly delicious! I really appreciated the quietness of the place (it wasn't very crowded) and the extremely friendly staff. Recommended if you're looking for a quiet place to eat really well.

I really liked the anchovies, and the cheesy pasta was excellent. The fried artichokes were beautifully cooked. The atmosphere is nice, only the garden is very hot, maybe they could put in a few more fans. I recommend it. However, some of the pasta dishes on the menu use pork cheek, so those with sensitivities should be aware of this. The restaurant is in the Ztl area, so it's not accessible by car. There is parking nearby, normally paid, but it's free right now because the machines are broken.

The wait staff is fantastic. The food is excellent (I recommend the artichokes alla Giudia). Everything is top-quality, in a lovely and refined yet light and informal atmosphere.

Excellent restaurant with authentic Roman cuisine and a truly pleasant atmosphere.
The internal garden is a bit warm in the summer, but otherwise the atmosphere is very welcoming.
The menus are original and presented in beautiful containers: a truly unique detail and a true highlight of the restaurant.
Dessert was the highlight of the dinner: the classic Maritozzo, just like in Rome, truly delicious.
A restaurant I happily recommend!

The service and ambiance were definitely more than four-star. The hazelnut dessert was truly delicious, and the appetizers and side dishes were also remarkable. The artichoke alla Giudia was one of the best I've ever had, and the Roman-style artichokes were also truly exquisite. My goal is to give it 4.5 stars, but since I can't, I'll give it four because the pasta we ordered, the cacio e pepe, at a restaurant that prides itself on having truly excellent pasta dishes, was honestly disappointing and not five-star worthy. I've had much better cacio e pepe pasta at various places in Rome and beyond.

A slice of Rome in Orbetello. The owner is friendly and the staff helpful. The cuisine is excellent (carbonara and Roman-style cod). Reservations recommended!
We returned again in July 2026, and once again the atmosphere was very welcoming and improved. Always the carbonara (I'll have to try other Roman dishes sooner or later), but for the appetizer, fried anchovies with sauce: delicious! The portions were generous and well-priced.
