The rating is an average between the food and the service. Quality food, good starters and excellent carbonara. Negative note about the service: Very long wait. Two and a half hours for an appetizer and a first course. I understand that it was Easter Sunday but all this waiting is inconceivable, and then the waiter: haughtily, "we are working, you are sitting". I would definitely go back for the food, absolutely not for the service.

Restaurant in the center of Orbetello, not far from the main square. Typical Roman menu, tasty and with really fresh products. Good wine list and relaxing environment. The owner is kind and very friendly without being intrusive. Definitely recommended.

Locale storico di Orbetello, presente da più di 25 anni e recentemente rimodernato dalla nuova gestione.

We ate pasta and pici beans with oxtail ragout and Roman-style artichokes. All very good!!! Optimal!!! It feels like being in Trastevere!!! Bad style!!!!

We returned to Rugantino and discovered that the place had changed management... but we also approve of this cuisine! We tried the first with sea bream and cherry tomatoes and the Giudia-style artichoke, both good, we'll be back!

In una traversa del corso principale di Orbetello si trova questa trattoria tipica romana a conduzione famigliare. Si possono degustare piatti cult della tradizione culinaria romanesca , ho pranzato con cicoria ripassata ottima , 1 carciofo alla romana buono , maialetto con patate troppo grasso , arrosto di vitello con patate ottimo , 1 crostata di ciliegie 1/4 di vino sfuso acqua e 2 caffè 64 € primi o secondi uno per l’altro vanno da un minimo di 16 a 18€ , un po’ troppo per una trattoria.
