If you're suddenly craving some delicious seafood amidst the Maremma hills, you have no choice. Il Rintocco is the place to be. Excellent wine and a typical Tuscan village setting.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was simple, as expected from this type of restaurant, but with some very special and delicious extras. We were particularly impressed by the fillet steak with mushrooms: generous portions, excellent cooking, and the quality of the meat.

Fantastic place! Ivan, a Fiorentina fan by the way ⚜️, and his team bring enthusiasm to the service and the dishes served. Truly unusual kindness and professionalism. It's rare to be offered a bottle of sparkling wine for a birthday or to leave bottles of Amaro for guests at the end of the meal. Exceptional mushrooms. Top-quality ingredients. Prices absolutely in line. Well done, well done, and well done again!

Rintocco is exactly what you're looking for as a vacationer in Tuscany: authentic food, super friendly owners and waiters, local drinks, and great value for money. A clear recommendation: the pizza and the beef fillet are particularly delicious. The beef fillet cost €18 and was a relatively large piece and very good. Reserve in advance!

Hands down some of the best food we have had in Italy and some of the best pizza we’ve EVER had. Wonderful owners and staff. Great location. Beautiful town. Honestly, that food was insane. We are coming back tomorrow. I can’t leave Italy without more of everything I ate. And more. Absolutely charming.

16/05/2026: The food is decent, dishes cooked just like grandma used to. An old-fashioned seafood trattoria. It's located behind the Follonica market and is always very busy. Good service, shame about the streetside location, but for that octopus, you'll be happy to settle!
12/05/2026: There were four of us for dinner, and we were completely satisfied. The seafood and fish were delicious. A must-try in Follonica!
