10/08/2025: Friendly, young, and friendly staff! We immediately felt at ease, and they gave us excellent advice on what to choose. Everything we ate, from appetizers to dessert, was delicious. The result was a fantastic lunch!

10/08/2025: Tuscan magic in every bite! The bistecca alla Fiorentina was perfection—smoky, tender, and unforgettable. 🍷 Tormino cheese and fresh truffle—top, artichokes, ravioli—delicious. 12/06/2025: This sport was recommended by our guide for our day in the Tuscany countryside. Manzo was right near our hotel, and we were looking for Florentine steak. The steak with truffles was amazing. My daughter ordered their carbonara and loved it. The restaurant is a great little setup with the cooks preparing food, which is viewable from any seat.

06/07/2025: I had an amazing meal today at Gilo. My waiter, Aden, was very attentive and kind. Started with an Aperol Spritz which was refreshing and had a hint of sweetness. I had the risotto with shrimp and it was delicious and so cheesy. 😋 Then ended my meal with a tiramisu. It was an overall 20/10. I would definitely come back and highly recommend anyone come here for a meals

03/08/2025: My partner and I came for lunch and ordered two wild boar tartares with crispy eggs. We really appreciated the fact that, since the tartare had come with burrata instead of egg, the owner offered us a tartare with egg, apologizing for the mistake. Excellent service, I'd say! Very friendly and excellent quality.

31/07/2025: Located in a side street, the restaurant exudes charm and coziness. The food is very good and the service is excellent. Our waiter, Toni, gave us absolutely competent advice on the food and wine. We also learned a bit about the history from him. Pure Tuscany!

04/07/2025: We had our wedding party hosted here for a meal recently (over 25 guests) and the team were so accommodating and friendly on the day. The food was flawless and discussing some dietary requirements beforehand, the team were happy to accommodate. The service was great and Federico and the team helped make our day that bit more special. We were not rushed and drinks / food was served on a great schedule even with so many to cover. Would highly recommend and will be returning for the steak florentine as soon as I can!

Just a stone's throw from the most beautiful wineries in Chianti, a location with meticulous attention to detail both indoors and outdoors! Service is provided by Lorenzo, but the real pleasure is the welcome from Daniele, the Bulacccio, at the entrance! We had a great time and ate authentic Tuscan cuisine! Fantastic Florentine steak! Impeccable in everything! From the service to the cuisine!! (Thank you, Capino, the chef). See you soon!

27/07/2025: Nous y sommes allés sur les conseils de notre guide locale. Après avoir partagé un planche de coccoli, nous avons commandé des pâtes à la carbonara et des beignets de courgettes. Au dessert un cheesecake au chocolat. Toit est très bon, le cadre est charmant (nous étions en terrasse) et je dois dire que le service était impeccable. Tout pour passer une belle soirée !

27/07/2025: My boyfriend and I had a wonderful meal. The food was truly excellent, and the staff was kind and very friendly. The price was more than fair. In the midst of frenetic Florence, it was a pleasant and relaxing break. We'll definitely be back.

14/08/2025: The most romantic place my wife and I ate the entire trip. The waiter gave us great food and wine recommendations and the food was spectacular! Best cooked duck I have ever had and the truffle pasta was melt in your mouth good! The whole experience was amazing. This restaurant is one that represents why you should walk away from the tourist restaurants calling for you to eat there as you walk by and instead make reservations at a place like this.
