10/05/2025: We dropped in for dinner by chance, tried the menu of the day for 35 euros: bruschetta, meat and a glass of wine. We were very pleased, the owners are very energetic, you can have a nice chat with them! No long queues. Very atmospheric!

10/06/2025: A wonderful stop for great Italian food. My fiancé and I got a bottle of Chardonnay, two pastas and the beef filet. Everything was spectacular and couldn’t have asked for better service. Would recommend for anyone visiting, you will not be disappointed!

19/05/2025: Chinese-Japanese restaurant just outside the historic center of Florence, easily accessible from Porta al Prato. Well-furnished and comfortable interior, with good taste. The best thing about the evening was the environment and the service, friendly and relaxed. We had fried prawns (three in number) and vegetables (three in number) well made but in a laughable quantity compared to the price paid. As "first courses" rice with eel and vegetables and noodles with shrimp and tuna. The noodles (soft wheat) were good, despite the small quantity and the little presence of shrimp and vegetables: the flavor was given entirely by the dried tuna. The flavor of the rice was unbalanced (abundant portion), too fatty and sweetish, without a sour/acidic note to break it all up. The eel is served with an excessively sweet sauce and the vegetables are not enough to "degrease". The presence of surimi is INEXPLICABLE, for a restaurant that wants to distinguish itself from the classic Chinese all you can eat. And beware: all the dishes are overloaded with salt. We ended with some mochi, given the scarcity of typical sweets available: particular consistency, pleasant while they are hot, too sticky when they become lukewarm or, worse, cold. Rather poor filling. Friendly service although slow, with the dishes that were brought ten minutes apart from each other, forcing us to share the dishes. Large and clean toilets. Prices clearly above average (drinks first and foremost), in relation to the quality of the food.

01/06/2025: A very authentic café. If you sit in the back room, you'll find yourself in a very original kitchen. The coffee is delicious, and the pastries are homemade.

12/05/2025: I knew nothing about this restaurant prior to walking in. We stumbled upon it and were fortunate to get in without a reservation. We had the five course meal which came with some additional surprises from the chef. Each plate was beautifully prepared and creative. The staff were fantastic and attentive. The lamb in a spicy bean sauce was probably the highlight for me but everything was delicious, innovative and unexpected. If you’re in Florence and looking for a new experience, I highly recommend this fine establishment.

07/06/2025: I ordered lasagna with Bolognese, which was spectacular, the best I've had in Italy so far. The family who runs it is very friendly.

07/06/2025: It was the most impressive meal during my honeymoon in Italy. As a chef who cooks Italian food in Korea, this trip was not just a simple rest, but also a journey to experience and learn about the ‘local taste’ firsthand. But this place…it’s really so delicious. You absolutely must try the gnocchi, and you absolutely must finish with the panna cotta. It’s just…so delicious. On top of that, the owners are really, really kind. The man speaks Korean well and even says “Ttabong👍”! The woman also welcomed me so warmly, which made me feel secure. Later, when I run my own restaurant, I thought I wanted to capture this kind of atmosphere and warmth. It was an unforgettable meal during my trip. 09/06/2025: Loved the house wine, lasagna and the owner! He gives free limoncello shots and is very sweet. I did not like the cacio e pepe. It tasted not traditional and veered into a more creamy tasting sauce. The Tuscan beans also lacked flavor. A table near us got the steak and it looked amazing. They do not take reservations and we were able to walk in without a wait.

31/05/2025: Simple, rustic charm. Full of lots of local families, always a good sign. The tomato pasta was simply the best pasta dish we have ever tasted anywhere in Italy - looked and tasted too good that we forgot to photograph before tucking in! The food looks so simple but the quality and flavour is excellent. REALLY good value too - because it's a bit outside of the main area and on the South side of the river which is generally better quality and value anyway as it's less touristy. Must book in advance. Well worth the effort - 20 min stroll from river.

16/05/2025: This place was recommended to me because it served traditional food and because it wasn't one of the many restaurants overrun with tourists, so the prices weren't that high and the food quality was very good. They were absolutely right with their recommendation. They welcomed me with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, and I ordered seafood pasta, which I thought was the best I'd eaten in Florence. The price was indeed lower than the restaurants in the more touristy area. It's well worth going out of the city center to eat there, because the service is also excellent.

20/05/2025: Excellent Tuscan food and fine wines (especially Chianti, of course). Many regional specialties, including fresh truffles. Excellent and friendly service (in English upon request) explains the menu in a friendly manner, ensuring the best pairings without any hint of arrogance. A fitting highlight for a visit or vacation in the region!

17/05/2025: Stavamo cercando da un po’ di giorni un’osteria in zona Chianti che potesse racchiudere buon cibo ed atmosfera e devo dire che la cena ha rispecchiato appieno la ricerca. Buon cibo con piatti tipici e produzioni artigianali ma quello che da uno sprint in più è stato tutto lo staff. Sempre simpatici, disponibili rendendo la serata divertente e conviviale.
