28/06/2025: We gave this place a fair try, 3 SEPARATE VISITS. We tried gelato, crepes and affogato. The affogato was way over priced given that it was less well presented than a cup of coffee and a slop of gelato, I could do better at home. The gelato is pretty good, there is better within a short distance either direction. What makes this not worth returning is the unwelcoming nature of the server. We went 3 different times and each time was worse than the last. Not worth it.

27/06/2025: Last night I went to Cantina del gelato with some friends. Excellent ice cream shop with unusual, exotic and gluten-free flavors for every need. In addition to the quality of the ice cream I must emphasize the hospitality of the employees. My friends already knew the place and had told me about the old-fashioned closed containers like wells that were definitely more HYGIENIC than the open ones and yesterday I went back to being a child for a moment (in the 80s many ice cream makers had well-shaped containers). Friends indicated how delicious the affogato coffee made with cream from my city was, next time I won't miss it. The 5 stars deserved. Something artisanal in Florence has remained. Thank you

23/09/2025: We loved our experience so much that we went back a second time. Niccolo's service was excellent; he speaks at least three languages: French, English, and of course, Italian. He knows the menu very well and is always able to advise us on this or that dish. Thank you very much for your welcome and hospitality.

19/09/2025: Authentic hot pot! I went with a Chinese friend, and it's truly traditional. Lots of broths and ingredients to choose from, fun and convenient. Be careful if you're not used to spicy food!

18/09/2025: We ordered stir-fries and fried food. Every dish was consistently bad. Basic dishes like the fish-flavored shredded pork were just average and very salty. We each took a bite of the fried tofu and left it all. The fried lotus root skewers were just cumin-flavored and limp. All the dishes were very salty. I was so unhappy with my meal that I went next door to get fried chicken.

07/10/2025: A typical trattoria in the heart of Florence, just steps from Santa Maria Novella, offering diners all the traditional dishes they deserve. A good option, even for large tables. Extensive wine selection. Friendly staff. Very fast service. The meat dishes are very flavorful. I recommend the meatloaf.

26/09/2025: ICE CREAM PARLOR IN THE CENTER OF FLORENCE, JUST A FEW STEPS FROM THE DUOMO. UNIQUE FURNISHINGS WITH DIFFERENT COLORS. THERE ARE SEVERAL UNIQUE AREAS. YOU CAN SERVE THE ICE CREAM BY YOURSELF, ADDING CHOCOLATES OF VARIOUS FLAVORS AND SYRUPS. THERE IS ANOTHER OUTLET IN LUCCA. THE OWNER IS HELPFUL AND KIND. THE PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT; IT DESERVES ALL FIVE STARS.

16/10/2025: A wide variety of food makes it hard to choose, as everything is tempting. The cornetos are exquisite, with a dough that seems to be made of butter. The cafeteria is also very good and delicious. The place has beautiful decor, and last but not least, the service is excellent; they're friendly and don't rush you. I would definitely return on my next visit to Florence.

04/10/2025: The best of the best. I don't often go out for breakfast, but when I do, I go to Caffè Neri, and it never disappoints. Excellent pastries, especially the cream puff pastry. They have a nice selection of sweet and small pastries, and the savory ones are also very good. The staff are kind, friendly, and always smiling, which definitely gets them points. I definitely recommend it.

17/09/2025: Both in the savoury and sweet dishes, tradition is found with the maximum exaltation of flavours... among the savoury dishes, the delicious schiacciate filled with seasoned cold cuts and among the wonderful sweets, the cremini, the scendiletto and the cream croissants as well as the sfogliatine... describing these flavours in words is truly reductive.

03/09/2025: What can I say except that we have one of the best restaurants "of all time" here! The produce is fresh, the staff is very friendly, the dining room is simple and unpretentious, and above all, the cooking is incredibly masterful. The truffle pasta is sublime, and the beef tagliata with Parmesan and arugula is to die for! As for the wine list, it offers some truly wonderful dishes! There's no doubt we'll be dining here again when we return to Florence.

07/09/2025: In the heart of Florence, a cozy spot where guests are treated with care. A homey atmosphere. Excellent cuisine. Friendly and helpful staff. We tried the house appetizer, two first courses, and a second course. Everything was delicious. Quiet outdoor seating.

13/10/2025: A spectacular restaurant serving great steaks. Great service in a small place with a great atmosphere. While we were there they turned away loads of people so booking a table is a must. If you go to Florence, go here. It’s a must.

11/10/2025: What can I say...a stunning place surrounded by greenery, meticulously curated in its furnishings and table settings, those places you see in magazines where the quality you see is confirmed in person and found in the substance!! The same quality is found in the food...amazing!!! We had the potato roll with Mornay sauce, egg yolk jelly and truffle, potato tortelli with Cinta and beef ragù, sublime, as were the wild boar ones (the pasta is homemade). And then there are the desserts (also homemade!): hazelnut tart and tartlet with Chantilly cream and raspberries...and here, we are on another planet!!! Compliments also to the service, to the waiters who know how to welcome you with professionalism and kindness. For me, 5 stars are not enough; everything deserves an A+. Well done!!!!!!

12/07/2025: Just finished an amazing meal on our last night in Firenze. Walter was an amazing host and everything we ate was delicious and high-quality, from the Fettunta to our ricotta/spinach filled ravioli and tagliatelle. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a fabulous dinner out. Grazie mille Walter!!
