The food was amazing! I recommend it 100%!

Started out with a young man serving us. He was polite and spoke good English. Food was good but I think our waiter got sent to other diner area since it was getting busier. Had to ask other waiter for drinks and desserts and bill. I do recommend the steak it was amazing.

Historic, traditional Florentine restaurant. The food is good, and the prices are a bit above average but justified by the quality.

We had dinner last night and were truly delighted. The restaurant is beautiful and well-kept, with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent, with carefully prepared and truly delicious dishes. Special thanks to Rabbi and Nicola, who looked after us with great professionalism, kindness, and attention throughout the evening. Impeccable service made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes!

We ordered a platter and two first courses: pappardelle with wild boar ragù and spaghetti alla chitarra with Mamma Gina's ragù, both truly excellent. Despite a small oversight regarding the bottle of water, they immediately made up for it by offering it to us and repeatedly apologizing. I recommend it.

Trattoria Mamma Gina sits in Firenze, just a stone’s throw from the Ponte Vecchio, inside a 15th-century building, which already gives it more atmosphere than most restaurants can buy with a designer and a mood board. It is reasonably priced, warmly rustic, and full of that steady hum of people actually enjoying themselves. The sound of conversation does a lot of the heavy lifting here, in the best possible way. This is not a temple of culinary reinvention. Nobody is trying to deconstruct Italy or put foam on your grandmother’s dinner. The food is honest, hearty, and genuinely tasty. Not life-changing, not the kind of meal that makes you stare silently into the middle distance, but good in the way good trattoria food should be: generous, familiar, and satisfying. Service was kind, smooth, and on point. The wine was excellent, as it always seems to be in Tuscany.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a bustling Friday evening without reservation. Service really friendly and absolutely attentive, incredibly efficient. Food was simply amazing, best steak we have had in Florence! Higly reccomend! Just try to go early if you don't have a booking.

Even though the restaurant was completely packed, the service was absolutely flawess. The staff was incredibly organized, welcoming and efficient, despite the restaurant being fully booked and incredibly busy, they were calm, professional and very attentive to our needs. Food delicious without any long delays. A perfect evening!

Stake and pasta absolutely divine. Exceptionally welcoming and service attentive and knowledgeable. Exceptional service,reasonable prices. Highly recommend if you want a true taste of Florence!
