A classic Florentine osteria just steps from Ponte Vecchio, offering well-prepared dishes and friendly service. Reasonable prices. Must try!

Grilled lamb chops were on the daily menu. They were spectacular. Service is friendly, very welcoming.

Highly recommended! A historic trattoria that looks like something out of a movie, but with young, dynamic, and super friendly service. The Fiorentina steak is one of the best I've ever had, and the wine selection is extensive and high-quality. A perfect blend of tradition and excellent cuisine. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

Saw lovely reviews online and I was tempted. Booked for a family of 4. Food was overpriced and it felt like a tourist trap. The service was good, atmosphere good, wine was good. The food - nice grilled veg and zucchini friti, the sides. Everything else was so-so. We paid eur 193 for 4 of us, but they charged a eur16 cover charge nonetheless. Felt over rated...

Mamma Gina in Florence is always a must. I come there every time I pass by. It's like feeling at home. The food tastes like grandma's, delicious and flavorful. The service has always been excellent. My favorite is the green peppercorn fillet, a tender piece that can be cut with a fork 😊 . What can I say? Kudos to the staff, they're all truly professional. See you soon.

In my opinion, this is the best trattoria in Florence. It's a must-visit every time I'm in the city.

Off a little street close to the bridge...Affordable and good...This restaurant was recommended by a winery we had visited 😀

We were on this place twice, the first time occasionally the second one intentionally. A very good kitchen for a reasonable price. Attentive personal.

A simple, average restaurant, friendly staff, and average service, nothing exceptional, but good food.
A bit smaller, with a few vegetarian options. Stroller and wheelchair access allowed.
We ordered a first course, a second course, a side dish, and two glasses of wine and water. The pici with sausage ragù were good but nothing extraordinary, the eggplant parmigiana was really good, and the roast potatoes were "old" (probably made several hours earlier and then reheated).
Upon delivery of our dishes, we were brought a welcome entree (Tuscan ribollita, very good), and the waiter apologized for the delay.
Even though we were the first customers (having a very small child, we had to arrive early), we felt a bit neglected. With so many customers and only one waiter, we couldn't order desserts and coffee (we had a museum entry scheduled and had to rush off).
I would improve the high chair for children, as it doesn't have a leg divider, making it a bit dangerous.
At the exit, we asked to pay in cash, but it was a shame there was no change...
Overall, a recommended experience.
