09/06/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with my wife, trying the tasting menu: carefully prepared dishes, well executed and with interesting combinations. You eat really well, with quality raw materials and a cuisine that demonstrates technique and personality. However, the experience was partly penalized by an important aspect: there is no real wine list. You can only drink from the labels selected by the staff, without the possibility of independent choice. A limitation that weighs, especially for those who like to build their own food and wine journey or want to compare themselves with a wider selection. A format that has potential, but that deserves a review, at least from this point of view.

20/09/2025: A very cool cafe with a great atmosphere. The coffee and desserts are fantastic 👌 The staff is very attentive, the service is excellent.

21/06/2025: Chapeau Bar was our go to place for coffee and breakfast every morning while we were in Florence. It is a popular neighborhood café and bar located just north of Piazza della Liberta. The space is cozy with beautifully restored brick arch ceilings and wooden counters. We had fresh Italian-style croissants and pastries and excellent coffee - including delicious espresso and beautifully presented cappuccinos each morning. The prices were VERY reasonable. Andrei and his team have created an incredibly welcoming, authentic place with a wonderful community feel. We SO enjoyed our chat with the locals that would come in each morning. 22/10/2025: Clearly displayed prices for food and coffee, that's what we were looking for. Very tasty pastries, excellent coffee and excellent service, we didn't have to ask for anything and even though we were standing at the entrance, the lady approached us and served us quickly. We took everything with us. It was great 👍

11/10/2025: I go every day, the staff is friendly and kind and the breakfast is superb, eaten in the discreet and relaxing room.

06/09/2025: We went to dinner without any pretensions, we had a steak for two and a glass of wine. €90 each? Are you kidding? They also listed two house entrees on the receipt, but we never received them. I don't even know if they were supposed to be for food or drinks. And then you bring me a steak for over €150, already cut at the table by the kitchen? Are you kidding? What kind of service is that? Plus, the steak wasn't even that great. Not to mention the wine sprayer... Horrible. In short, I'd say robbed. When we asked for an explanation of the absurd price, they told us that the meat in the fridge is priced per kilo... In the fridge... I'm speechless.

27/08/2025: 8:30 p.m. no more burgers, a bit mind-blowing 🥹 So we had to fall back on pasta stew, okay but not outstanding. We had to ask for white wine 3 times to keep it cold... In short, not a great experience.

04/10/2025: Yesterday I had the oiliest, most watery pizza I've ever eaten. I only ordered a Tonno pizza without onions, and the second time they got it right... I left it practically untouched; it was like soup in the center of the pizza, disgusting. I'll never go back to that place. I've dined at 10 different osterias, each one more excellent than the last, but this isn't an osteria... not even close. If the place lasts, it's because thousands of customers pass through Florence.

16/10/2025: Not a huge place, but a nice one. I tried it for takeout, and I waited about 30-40 minutes (Friday evening, 9:00 PM). The ladies working there were very nice, and the food wasn't bad. Since we ordered for two greedy eaters, we got more than half the menu (I don't remember the names). I didn't notice much difference in flavor between the beef and pork ravioli; the spring rolls were a bit greasy and slightly flabby. The fried shrimp were very good, the octopus balls were a bit thin on fish, and the three pork bombettes were good. Overall, it could be improved; we'll definitely have the opportunity to return between beers downtown.

13/10/2025: If you’re craving authentic handmade Chinese street food in Firenze, Bomo is the place to go. The buns, mo, and dumplings are made right in front of you. Fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. I am craving them as I write this review. The pan-fried buns are outstanding. Crisp underneath, soft inside, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. We’ve had dumplings in Shanghai many times, and these are just as good. The Chinese hamburger is fantastic too, as authentic as what we've had in Xi’an. Even in a city famous for pasta and pizza, Bomo offers a welcome contrast with thoughtful flavors and true authenticity. We stop by every time we’re in Firenze.

16/09/2025: Don’t be disheartened if there isn’t too many people in the evening. They serve fantastic, rustic tucsan food in a lovely setting. Fantastic wine as well. If you are wanting something other than pasta and pizza we would recommend. We shared cheese & meat, Ravioli, Osso Bucco, Beans with tomato and sausage and for desert had a lovely chocolate tart and tiramisu. The meal felt like a home cooked dinner, we would definitely recommend. P.s. note for the restaurant- call the ‘marrow’ (on English menu) Osso Bucco people will order this more than how it’s currently presented.

02/08/2025: The quality of the ingredients (meat, bun, etc) is very good, however: 1. the meat was very dry and not juicy at all (we ordered 4 burgers and they were all dry) 2. Missing ingredients (example no pancetta croccante which we paid extra for and since we did take away, by the time we arrived home it was too late to go back) 3. ONE HOUR wait for 4 burgers to go! We have two children, they should have advised that the there was going to be such a long wait. We noticed that the Glovoo runners were coming and going so it seems those orders have priority. We had our drinks while waiting for the meal, so not ideal, especially if you have kids filled up on soda and then not hungry enough to finish their meal. There's potential to be a great place, they just need to focus and organize better. Maybe hire another person to help things go smoother.

08/09/2025: I'll start by saying that the quality of what we ate was well above the city average, and that certainly deserves recognition. However, it's absolutely not an osteria to charge €25.50 for—I swear, I'm not kidding—two bites of peposo. I found it utterly dishonest, I'm truly sorry to say. On the contrary, the first course was a decent portion, for a rather low price, considering the average for Florence. The service was rather anonymous and somewhat confusing. There was air conditioning, but it wasn't on, and it was very, very hot inside. Ultimately, €70 for an appetizer, a first course, a second course, a quarter of wine, and a liter of water seems excessive to me, considering the name "osteria." It wouldn't have been such an absurd price if the portion of peposo had been just a little larger. Two bites are truly a joke, even if they are delicious.

29/07/2025: Mangiando Mangiando is now a must, whether for a quiet dinner with my husband or for business lunches. Everything is top-notch: fresh ingredients, carefully prepared and authentic dishes, excellent wine with excellent value. The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and rich in true knowledge of Florentine and Tuscan cuisine. The service is attentive and knowledgeable, presented with passion and authenticity. It's a restaurant for everyone—welcoming and accessible—but at the same time, it's a true Florentine restaurant, where Florentines don't feel like guests, but at home. An authentic, sincere place. Highly recommended!

25/09/2025: Excellent thin crust pizza. One of the best we've eaten. The pasta was also excellent and made properly. Prices are relatively low and overall the value for money is excellent. We would definitely be happy to return.

17/03/2025: The staff has always been extremely kind. The food is simply excellent and of high quality. I'm giving it a low rating because the portions are truly modest, at least when it comes to the side dishes. My daughters asked for mashed potatoes three times (because we love going back) and they only got a paltry soup... I hope this criticism is constructive.
