15/03/2025: We had dinner in this trattoria yesterday. As a starter (primi) we both had soup. The soups were okay, but they cost 20 euros each - quite a lot considering they were just average and the service forgot to bring us bread. Our dishes: 1. Primi / First Menu: Crema di broccoli con pancetta croccante / Broccoli soup with crispy bacon – €20 2. Primi / First Menu: Zuppa toscana con cavolo nero e fagioli / Tuscan soup with black cabbage and beans – €21 3. Main Menu: Stracotto di manzo alla fiorentina con patate / Traditional Florentine beef pot roast with potatoes – €28 4. Main Menu: Fegato di vitella alla salvia with verdure di stagione / Veal liver with sage with seasonal vegetables – €26 We consider the price for the main courses to be okay again, but here too the food was only mediocre. The veal liver was particularly disappointing - it had no convincing taste and could have been prepared much better. The ambience was also fine, but we sat close to the door where it was drizzling, so I felt cold. Overall, the food was just average, the service wasn't particularly attentive, and the prices are too high for the quality. We left the restaurant with a rather bad feeling and would not recommend this trattoria.

20/04/2025: Birthday dinner, more than twenty people and a menu decided about a month before. They show us a cost that for the proposed menu could even be correct. If it weren't for the fact that: the dinner was an aperitif, that is, a lot of wine and very little food. After having pointed this out, they bring us the "" ... So another mistake by the restaurant, the chef or the principal does not show up but they send the waiters, young and extremely competent, to apologize for them with this sentence, if it were not for the fact that the menu as previously written was agreed upon for more than a month, so either the owners have an abstract concept of food in which it must be seen and tasted with the look or something here does not add up. There is no way to put house wine at 2.50 euros per bottle and numerically give 1 crostini per person x3, plus 1 slice of cold cuts per person and dulcis at the bottom 3 pieces of meat with the total weight of a protein bar and the thickness of the Arista could be worth or think of being acceptable for 35 euros. Personally, a wonderful place and good service, but the idea of ​​paying to just see the food cooked does not drive me crazy.

20/04/2025: The food is quality, no doubt about it. For a birthday dinner with a fixed menu (35€): appetizer with crostini and cold cuts and steak with potatoes. We all got up hungry. Terrible experience.

30/12/2024: Great caterer near Santa Croce. A warm welcome, appetizing dishes, cold meats and basic groceries. You will even find some basic hygiene products in case you forget them in your suitcase

03/04/2025: I give 4 stars for the waitress and the speed of the service. We arrived at 9:30 p.m. and the grumpy old man rushed us to sit down because it was late... but the professional and helpful waitress changed the situation. It is a restaurant “made” for locals.

09/04/2025: Visited La Fattoria with my parents and husband. We couldn’t book anything online so we just showed up and asked for recommendations. We were offered a tasting tour for €40 per person. First member of staff was very friendly, although we only got two glasses of wine and a bit of bread to taste two olive oils. Second staff member practically ran us through the building, talking very fast. I had to translate for my parents, a few times I just had to and interrupt staff to translate. She ignored me and just kept talking over me. Not the best experience and definitely not worth €40. The estate itself is beautiful, stunning views. Would be nice to have a walking path back to Panzano as you can either drive back (after wine tasting) or wait for a bus next to a main road and the last one leaves at 6pm. Considering that their hotel is in Panzano, would make sense to connect the two.

01/03/2025: Very characteristic trattoria/pizzeria. Outside there is a paid parking but if you walk around a bit you can find the place. The environment has soft lighting with rather small but very spacious rooms or collected and cute overall. The staff is very kind and attentive to all requests. We took the pizza and it was well cooked, good dough and well stuffed. Average price. I recommend it

07/04/2025: Excellent place that you wouldn't expect from the outside. Excellent host and service including a food-carrying robot that runs up and down with the trays. Food reviewable in some respects, too salty in general.

17/01/2025: We went to this restaurant for our anniversary and I must say that everything was perfect! The location is fantastic, on the sixth floor of the Westin Excelsior Hotel, where the 360° view of Florence offers a wonderful panorama! Refined cuisine of excellent quality. Impeccable service and extremely friendly staff. At the end of dinner they brought us some pastries with the words "Happy Anniversary" written on them, which we really appreciated! It's not an "everyday" restaurant but definitely one of those places that I recommend trying at least once in your life!

24/12/2024: I was in October, a truly magnificent place, which makes you look good. On the sixth floor of the hotel, a glass rooftop with space outside, a terrace that surrounds the entire room. The price is very high but I think it's worth it at least once for anyone. Very friendly and helpful staff, just as you would expect from a place of a certain level. The cost of a drink is around €28

30/03/2025: De l’attente pour trouver une table avec un accueil assez peu sympa. Puis attente pour être servi d’une pizza annoncé grandiose et en fait pas très bonne avec des produits assez peu qualitatifs. Personnel peu souriant. Il y a bien mieux à Florence

09/04/2025: I bought 2 meals, sparkling mineral water and dessert at this restaurant. But the waitress managing our table (who happened to seem frustrated with us in her demeanor the whole time) didnt want to throw away our empty paper cups. To be clear, we didnt buy drinks elsewhere to enjoy in this restaurant, we just had empty coffee cups from our walk in our hands when we arrived, and it was common sense to us that the restaurant wouldnt mind throwing them away, since we were there purchasing meals. She picked them up off our table and handed them to me. When i asked her where the bin was she said she couldnt help with these cups. She tried to tell me to take them with me, so i went to the other waitress who threw them out promptly. Your food is great but your wait team needs to learn how hospitality works. This would have been a 5 star review if it wasnt for this. Paying customers shouldnt be made to feel like a nuisance. I will also note that one of those dodgy street sellers was allowed to walk into the restaurant with a bunch of junk in his hands to sell and he walked up to all of the customers trying to sell things while we were eating. It was quite uncomfortable and he was very obviously not there for a meal. I’m not sure of the rules around denying people entry, but he was clearly no patron.

04/04/2025: What strikes you about the vegetarian is the scent you smell when you enter: it reminds you of your grandmother's house after she has prepared so many good dishes. The menu changes every day and the value for money is excellent. We'll be back and back again!

12/04/2025: Would highly recommend for a local, friendly dinner spot. Every dish was excellent (especially the tiramisu). Staff were attentive and friendly. A lovely authentic feel as well.

12/04/2025: Typical local trattoria off the beaten track. We ended up here as we wanted to get away from the crowds in central Florence. The venue is ok, decent decor and ok room size. The issue is the timing of the food, we waited 30 mns for starters and an hour for mains. The food is just above average for Florence. Given the price point I would say there are better options around.
