17/03/2025: Nos quedamos muy contentos con nuestra estancia en el hotel Brunelleschi! El personal, específicamente Paulus Meershoek era muy cortés y servicial y respondió a cualquiera de nuestras preguntas durante nuestra estancia. El hotel está muy bien situado y nos dio fácil acceso para todos nuestros tours. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente!

05/03/2025: Una cena maravillosa nuestra primera noche en Florencia. Las vieiras y la berenjena parmesana estaban deliciosos. Muy conveniente ya que nos alojamos en Brunelleschi Hotel!

28/03/2025: Nice place, we ate fish (appetizer, first course and second course each for two) and the food was all excellent. Super friendly, perfect timing and excellent service. The price was also super fair. I would absolutely recommend it!

16/03/2025: Excellent little place. Highly recommend the food, particularly the liver pate. The "carbonara" isn't that spicy unless you eat the chilli's. It's also not really a carbonara, but more pasta with pepronata (breadcrumbs) with a sort of egg yolk on top that you cut (torn between saying it was either frozen or cured before frying..) Tiramisu and creme brulee were also very nice and traditionally done.

25/02/2025: Really good good! Mandatory stop if you pass through these parts! We took a cutting board and crostini, but what blew our minds were the first courses, especially cacio pepe and truffle! Very kind and helpful owner, she even offered us the tart

26/02/2025: I had seafood spaghetti and vegetable soups The soup has rich flavour and it tasted quite good. However the spaghetti is fishy and I’m not sure why the cream base looks like this and it’s fishy too

07/02/2025: Questo piccolo locale si trova proprio di fronte a palazzo Pitti , accogliente e ben curato. Pur essendo entrate intorno alle 14 e 30 non ci sono state restrizioni sul menù. 3 hamburger con patatine, una porzione di cannelloni spinaci e ricotta ( crespelle in realtà) 2 bottiglie di acqua naturale, 2 caffè e 4 coperti 80 Euro. Piatti abbondanti e di qualità

13/03/2025: Very very nice environment, I really appreciated the black color. Perfect intimate setting for a lunch or dinner for 2... I expected much more from the food and was a little disappointed. Welcome glass of prosecco appreciated even if not the best prosecco I have tasted. Very good Wagyu and cooked to perfection. Tagliatelle with steak ragu were good, fresh but they weren't hot.. fried potatoes not to perfection, still a good 5 minutes left to cook. The disappointment came with the steak. Beautiful in the window but at the table it was a scene to bring it into the "brazier" because the steak was cold and a little charred.. especially in a restaurant for the Florentine steak I expect a Florentine steak under 4 fingers and carpaccio.. the steak was thin about 1 finger and cold.. I didn't like it. The decomposed millefeuille was prepared with sheets freshly made in the oven but the cream was instant or already prepared a while ago, very compact and not at all creamy... the price was right if the food was as it should be. I will not return and do not recommend it.

Cibo squisito,ottimo vino e personale gentile e cortese. Tornare qui è sempre una garanzia! Siamo stati benissimo. Che dire ...a presto Trattoria Gigi!

13/04/2025: Comida deliciosa, con platos bien preparados y sabrosos. El servicio fue muy amable y atento en todo momento. Los precios nos parecieron buenos y la ubicación es ideal: en una zona tranquila y muy cerca de nuestro hotel. Recomendaría Trattoria Gigi a mis amigos que visiten Florencia.

29/03/2025: Avevo prenotato 10 giorni prima , sapendo che il locale dispone di pochi posti ed è sempre pieno. Sono arrivata al ristorante chiedendo del mio tavolo e mi viene detto che non c’era nessun tavolo a mio nome. Ovviamente può succedere ma quello che non è ammissibile è la reazione del proprietario che non si è scusato per l’inconveniente e ha tenuto un atteggiamento tale da far credere che fossi io ad aver sbagliato, creandomi non pochi problemi visto l’ora, per trovare un’alternativa. Aggiungo inoltre, che il locale dista 40 km da dove abito.

06/02/2025: Small restaurant but very welcoming, Japanese and Italian food, all very good. Clean and comfortable environment, very kind staff. For us a guarantee and a pleasant convivial moment.

22/03/2025: Beautiful and historic restaurant in Pratolino in the hills surrounding Florence overlooking the wonderful park of Villa Demidoff. Free parking outside. Completely renovated, it has maintained the menu of the past, with the quality that has always distinguished it. It offers a wide variety of dishes including appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts. We opted for the classic Florentine steak (price lower than average) with side dish, but not before having tasted some excellent polenta with mushrooms and ragù. Fast service and attentive to every need. In general the prices are below average. I recommend it for the quality of the place, the food and because it pairs well with a walk in nature before and/or after the meal.

14/04/2025: I’ve never been treated with such disrespect in Italy. I came and waited at the table for 20 minutes for someone to notice me. Then someone finally came, and I said I wanted to have an Aperol. They told me I couldn’t just order a drink, I had to order food as well. I said no problem, please bring the menu. They brought it and literally threw it on the table without even looking at me. So rude. And so disrespectful. A tourist destination like Italy shouldn’t have such rude staff.

11/04/2025: The food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spectacular octopus salad as well as the fillet with green pepper. Quiet environment outside the chaos of the city, very intimate and ideal for a dinner with friends or as a couple.

07/02/2025: The best pizza in Florence! The environment very familiar.. smiling very helpful! The flavors and pizza options are all 100% worth it! We also tried it with pumpkin..something different and very tasty..10/10! We will definitely visit again!!
