09/08/2025: everything was delicious, a friendly place with great people. I only gave it 3 stars because 1 plate of pasta and a ½ bottle of water cost €11... a bit too expensive for an osteria in my opinion, especially if you go there often because you work in the area.

I came here last year and HAD to come back again this year! The service is phenomenal, the Florentine steak is like butter melting in your mouth with flavor and the fact that it’s on a hot plate, DOUBLE WIN!
The wine choosing of my waiter, on point!!!
No crowd so very easy to get a seat! At least for the second time I’m here!
30/08/2025: We came from Bologna, found the place while walking, and couldn't have made a better choice.
Apart from everything, it was delicious, the staff was wonderful. The welcome and friendliness were extraordinary.
If I had to recommend it, it would be the first.
They were great, I felt at home.

17/07/2025: We had an excellent meal with my family of 5. The pasta - pesto gnocchi, spaghetti carbonara, and pappardelle ragout - were amazing. The steak Florentine was delicious, also. Though considering the price of the steak, I may pass on it next time and just order more pasta - it was so good!
Mario was our waiter and he was wonderful - I recommend the place!
17/07/2025: This osteria was recommended to us by the hotel we stayed at, and they couldn't have recommended a better place! The ingredients are top-quality (the tortelli al ragù were truly exceptional), the location is intimate and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive (especially Micol—if I remember correctly the waitress's name—and Mario, who served us). The only flaw—but perhaps it was a one-off—was the wait between courses. Regardless, it was nothing that stopped us from enjoying an excellent dinner.

Unfortunately, I had the bad idea of ordering drinks alone and was treated in a way I didn't appreciate at all. If I hadn't been with friends, I would have left. I highly doubt I'll return. I apologize for stealing a bottle of water and a Coke.

30/08/2025: Zio Gigi is nothing less than a genius. His smile brightened up my day so much. Such a wonderful kind man. I hope his endeavours are successful. He makes me so happy. Even now, as I get further away from Florence, his radiant voice still penetrates deep into my memory. It brings a tear to my eye even to recall it. The meatballs were the best I’ve ever had.
