Ristorante da Lino In Firenze

The best carbonara in Florence is at da Lino Ristorante. Order it with truffle (essential). We were practically ready to carry the chef out on our shoulders. As for the service, it was EXCEPTIONAL. Glabeta served us, and she was lovely. If we return to Florence, we'll definitely go back!

Nice location, friendly staff, and delicious food, especially the truffle cappellacci. We booked through TheFork and had a 50% discount, and even though we also ordered the steak (which was good), it was very cheap! We recommend it.

Excellent, traditional local trattoria, tried during a lunch break. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The food was very good, and the prices were in line with average. Recommended.

Very cute spot with very kind staff! I ordered the risotto w/ black truffle. It came out very good but I wish it was a tad more truffle forward. My friend ordered the margarita pizza. I don’t think anything we tried was exceptional, but I think it is a solid food spot and I would come again for the ambiance alone. Located very close to the Duomo—I was impressed by the reasonable pricing.

We went to a restaurant today. The food was very good, but the girl at the cash register behaved inappropriately with the customers. I'd like to compliment the other girl, the shorter one, who was very kind and professional. I don't want to go into the details of what happened, but I recommend paying more attention to the way you treat customers. Thank you.

The Cappellacci was so delicious and the staff were so friendly. Also, the ambience is very quiet and nice—away from the bustling Florentine streets.

We had the best time as a family here. They treated us like we belonged, the steak was crazy good and so was the wine.

I had eaten there before (8 years ago) and came back because I wanted to eat that Bistecca Fiorentino again. The sign outside said 65 euros for 1 kg, so I ordered that. However, the energetic female staff member said, "That's only for people with reservations; without a reservation, it's 1.5 kg or more. Don't worry, even I can finish it." But I was still worried, so I only ordered tomato soup as well. Soon after, the 1.5 kg arrived with a bang. It was a lot. I thought they used to adjust the portion size for me, and when I asked, it seems the management has changed. I recommend this place to people who are confident in their stomach capacity. If you're not confident, you should give up on the Bistecca. Also, the Japanese menu that used to be there seems to have disappeared along with the previous management. What a shame!
