A cozy and lovingly cared-for place. The truffle risotto was incredible, and the lasagna spectacular. They lit a candle for us while we ate, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Just a few meters from the piazza, the prices are very reasonable, offering some of the best value for money in the area. It also has one of those typical windows where you order drinks and they serve them to you through it—a curious and typical feature of Florence. My husband, myself and our friends had outstanding meals here. In particular, the capellacci maremmani al pesto e granelle di pistacchio may be the best meal I have ever had. My friend had wished she had ordered it also, so we went back for lunch and both ordered this meal. Other meals ordered during our first visit was the pici alll carbonara, papardelle al chinghiale, and the lasagna. All were very good also. The service was great as well.

Very friendly staff. Avoid the truffle risotto. It's topped with cream and truffle cream.

The food was really great. The service was also excellent. My only complaint is that we arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm, but the doors didn't open until 6:15 pm. Opening hours are from 6 pm.

01/05/2026: A typical Tuscan trattoria. The host welcomed us with warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. We ate a hearty, quality steak with various side dishes. The desserts were all homemade and delicious. We'll definitely be back.
