I loved this small place in Florence. I called to book in advance as I read that it is difficult to get a table but I managed to get one.
I was in Florence for business and I can say that I enjoyed a nice dinner on my own.
Excellent quality and good price. You can order a bottle of wine and if you don’t drink it full, then they will charge you for the portion of what you drank.

Fantastic gastronomic experience! The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was extremely undercooked (they're always like that, lol) and the pasta dishes are divine. It's an unpretentious restaurant where the focus is entirely on flavor and quality. The service is attentive and the atmosphere invites a long and enjoyable meal. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates good Italian cuisine.

I had dinner at this restaurant, but only after making a reservation. Even though I was alone, I'd tried several times, but without a reservation, it was always packed.
This historic restaurant has two rooms: one with the bar and a few tables, and then a second, larger and more spacious room. The place is clean, as is the small bathroom.
The artwork hanging on the walls is also beautiful, with a QR code to find out the artist and price.
The staff is always friendly, even when they had to tell me there was no room. They even explained why the ribollita soup, which I'd so much wanted, was missing from the menu: it simply wasn't in season for some ingredients, like cavolo nero. On the other hand, it was tomato season, and therefore the delicious pappa al pomodoro they recommended.
I would have had a second course instead of dessert, but after the meat, I was full. The fillet steak was cooked perfectly, rare but not cold all over.
The Florentine steak at the adjacent tables was beautiful, but it would have been too much for me on its own.
I highly recommend it! It's truly one of the few trattorias that doesn't have a touristy feel.
I still recommend booking.
