05/12/2025: Traditional Italian food with a hip vibe, cheerful staff and alternative interior. I enjoyed my Tripi Florentine style and tomatoe bread soup!!! Never tried before and absolutely loved it. Both dishes are very filling. I would have been completely satisfied with either of the two.

04/12/2025: As usual, the dinner was excellent, as was the service. This time... even more so... there were four of us, and due to our particular circumstances, we might have been a bit inconvenienced. Without even mentioning it, we were immediately offered dinner at their adjacent restaurant, "Il Cibreo," and were still served the Il Cibleo menu. It's truly rare to find such a high level of customer service and attention!

22/11/2025: A unique and exceptional experience. We had heard about the other Cibreo restaurants, and this wound up being our favorite meal in Tuscany (and one of our favorite ever). Truly unique flavors and outstanding drinks, too (including some sake they brought us to try on the house). No, it’s not a traditional Tuscan meal, but the flavors are remarkable, it clearly still has a local influence, and the overall experience and service are special. A memorable evening.

30/11/2025: Last night, we had a wonderful experience at Chef Filippo Saporito's Leggenda Dei Frati. The venue is simply enchanting, located inside Villa Bardini and boasting a breathtaking view of the city. Hard work, research, and thoughtfulness create a wealth of flavor. The cuisine is deeply rooted in the local area, and the wine selection is the result of long and meticulous dedication. Some courses are already missing as soon as you finish them, but the crescendo of flavors in each dish makes you want to see what else the chef will delight you with. The bread, too, is incredible, masterfully presented in all its forms, creating the perfect pairing with the dishes. The desserts are simply a triumph of flavor. Every detail of the dishes exudes love and care. An experience truly worth experiencing.

11/10/2025: I cannot, in good conscience, give this restaurant a good rating. This is the worst Michelin-star experience I’ve encountered; in fact, it’s the most disappointing meal of my entire trip to Italy. The presentation is beautiful, but the flavors missed the mark completely. The sweet shrimp dish is the only one I somewhat enjoyed, but it was merely scraps in the soup. It feels ridiculous to be served such a minimal portion for such an expensive meal. Can I please have a full shrimp? The tiny bits in there do not constitute a full serving. Then came the pasta, which was bland, and the stuffed pasta resembled mush—what was that? I completely lost it with the next dish: chicken liver. First off, another bread heavy dish after a few bread dishes already. The balancing and pace of this meal is completely off. Secondly, I usually relish, as I love pâté, foie gras, and similar delicacies. However, this dish tasted overwhelmingly bloody, making it inedible. The pigeon, which I am familiar with and grew up eating, also had an unpleasant taste, oozing with blood. I love a medium rare steak but this dish literally tasted like blood. At this point, I felt nauseated and decided to ask for the check before dessert. As for the bill, the waitress initially told us the drinks were complimentary, so we decided to give them a try. That turned out to be untrue. We were charged for everything, bringing our total to a staggering $450, which is excessively high, even by US standards. We left feeling robbed, and I even experienced stomach pain afterward. If you think you’ll enjoy a nice view during dinner, you are in for a disappointment. We were greeted with trees completely blocking the city skyline, only getting a glimpse of it after our meal. Additionally, I noticed there were only three tables occupied in the entire restaurant on a Friday night, which was quite telling. I wish I could have my time and money back. This was for our wedding anniversary and truly completely ruined our day. It’s an incredibly disappointing experience, and I can’t help but feel frustrated thinking about it.

18/11/2025: Excellent selection of pizzas, beers, and wines. High-quality, well-balanced ingredients. Very crispy and tasty dough. Spectacular desserts!!! Fair prices.

29/10/2025: I had dinner with a friend, and what can I say? Gorgeous, clean place with a varied menu and an excellent wine list. Excellent value. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

07/11/2025: We visited early in the day around 1pm and we were the only ones there. The waiter was nice and spoke English to us without making it feel like an inconvenience. He was so nice and interacted with our two young children. Every thing we ordered was delicious! I'm gluten free but my family is not. Having a separate gluten free menu with so much to offer was a delight and weight off my shoulders. Highly recommend!

01/11/2025: This has become my favorite place. The place is elegant, intimate, and welcoming. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is excellent, delicious. My favorite dishes are the cheese and truffle crostini and the fillet steak. But I've also tried various first courses and appetizers, and none have ever disappointed me. I always gladly return whenever I can. ❤️ PS: An extra point for the excellent background music (usually romantic Italian classical music). See you next time!

24/10/2025: It really is worth the hype. One of the more memorable focaccias of our entire trip. The man there was so patient and explained every ingredient to us which we really appreciated. My favorite was the pear and local salami sandwich!

20/10/2025: Awesome sandwich spot! Lots of simple but great options. You can see them prepare all the ingredients right in front of you. Do keep in mind that it’s not the fastest place, this wasn’t a problem for me so didn’t impact my experience.

11/10/2025: Food was amazing. I was very impressed with how good everything was. Definitely 5 star food. Service was a little slow. Our waiter was more focused on the group of women next to us and kind of forgot about us. But the food trumps his energy.

09/11/2025: 🇮🇹🇪🇸 A Spanish tour guide recommended this place, and I went when it was time for dinner. I remember it was December 2023, and it was cold, but it was warm sitting on the little bench. I couldn't speak to the man because I don't speak Italian, but he seemed very friendly to the other people who did. The food was quite good and served quickly. It was a very pleasant moment that I will remember for many years. Far from home and traveling alone on an adventure, at Christmas in a beautiful city decorated with Christmas lights, eating hot food while watching people go by. (I haven't seen a more beautiful city than Florence.)
