04/07/2025: Worth the trip to Florence alone

04/07/2025: We had the best gelato in Florence here, and we tried several, but always came back here. We stayed above another gelato place that's close, that had long lines at all times, and while that one was good as well, we always passed it by and came here cause this one was MUCH better, and no lines. So a double win.

30/08/2025: Everything was perfect, this is the second time in 1 week that I eat here and both food and service are perfect, totally recommended.

25/08/2025: Simply delightful, beautiful Italian food and drink. Need to ask for restaurant opening hours, but if that's isn't open they will make you a takeaway meal to sit across the road at the riverside

24/08/2025: We ate at the outdoor tables, where no service whatsoever is provided, not even the tables are cleaned. We ate tagliolini with porcini mushrooms that tasted absolutely nothing.

20/07/2025: We'd been to Pontassieve several times before, but never to Le Sieci. Superb pizza by the slice, fast service, and a very good waitress. My husband and I were on the veranda. The place was very well-maintained, everything was perfect, quality and price. We'll definitely be back.

22/07/2025: Incredible modern Italian cuisine with a Japanese twist. If you’re tired of eating at the same trattoria and up for some adventure, I suggest trying this place. It’s been on the Michelin guide, but the food tastes like a Michelin restaurant.

19/07/2025: It’s a small, cozy restaurant with delicious food and excellent wine options. We were served professionally, yet with ease and friendliness. Totally enjoyed our evening and would gladly come back!

08/09/2025: Completely tasty and satisfying experience. I had the Palmira, consisting of Mujaddara, kibbeh, salad, and hummus. It filled me up well, healthy and satisfying. I was glad to see the place crowded. Nicely decorated walls with plants. Also gluten-free friendly, although they do indicate a possibility of cross contamination if you are celiac. The Wi-Fi didn't work and reception there is spotty, which is why I took one star off of service.

04/09/2025: We came for dinner and returned for lunch the next day because we enjoyed it so much. We tried the eggplant piadinas, which were truly excellent and plentiful. The piadinas were excellent value, but slightly less so for the falafel platter (which was still delicious). The place is small and very charming. The staff were friendly.

03/09/2025: Fantastic food, okay. But I want to focus more on the service, the customer care. We were passing through for dinner with two children. Between shared plates, extra forks for tasting, and kindness...I say this is how you run a restaurant. If we were in the area, I would return a thousand times; my 8-year-old keeps asking me when we'll be back for pici with duck ragù. Excellent, thank you.

It’s products, wine and extra virgin olive oil as well as the food and the hospitality provided, denotes the love and affection for this part of Tuscany from where the princely family of the Corsini came before moving to Florence. It is definitely worth a trip to San Casciano, on the outskirts of Florence, to visit the beautiful villa of Le Corti and the newly restored and renovated gardens. The owners will show you around the antique wine cellars and you can end your visit sampling delicious food and their outstanding wines at their restaurant.

21/08/2025: A wonderful experience, a place where history, tradition, art, a connection with nature, kindness, sensitivity, and taste come together. I recommend the guided tours of the gardens and then sampling the excellent cuisine. The Chianti wine is delicious, but you absolutely must try the Fico! Don't forget the truly special organic EVO oil. Not to be missed!

03/09/2025: We were there on Sunday late afternoon/early evening and initially had the restaurant to ourselves. The lovely atmosphere, the very friendly service, and the excellent food made for a magical evening.

07/08/2025: I stop by every day for coffee, and they always manage to please me. They're always kind and polite, and if they can do you a favor, they never hesitate! Plus, the coffee is really good, much better than those big coffee shops.

23/08/2025: Excellent restaurant on the Certaldo lake. Owner Antonio guides you through his menu, illustrating and explaining the various dishes. Some off-menu options are also available at the chef's discretion. The tasting menu was excellent; we tried both the first and second courses at both dinners. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful, overlooking the Certaldo lake, cool in the evenings, even on the hottest days. Friendly and professional staff. Extensive wine list and a good selection of desserts.

22/08/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant in early August. The location is truly enchanting, immersed in the Tuscan countryside just minutes from Certaldo. We were offered a taste of rosé as a welcome gift and were told about the ingredients used in the kitchen, all local. The dishes were excellent, both the appetizers and the first courses. Having booked with The Fork, we also received a discount. Highly recommended, and I'd go back!

03/09/2025: I thought this will be one of those pretentious gelato shops but actually it was quite good. Pistachio flavour, as usual, is the best.

19/07/2025: As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the owner with a friendly and professional manner. What struck us was the manager's enthusiasm in presenting the place and the dishes. We ordered two pizzas (Red P. and Norma), both well-prepared and topped with quality ingredients. I also asked for a glass of red wine and was offered an upgrade (Brunello 2018). We learned that they also organize tastings with pizza and wine pairings. The place isn't huge, but it's well-decorated and has well-distributed seating, located in the historic center. The staff is young (some small hesitations, but they improve with experience). Recommended. Well done. If you liked the review, please vote for me. Be wary of reviewers who only contribute.

19/07/2025: Appena entrati siamo stati accolti dal proprietario con modi cordiali e professionali, quello che ci ha colpito è l'entusiasmo del gestore nel presentare il locale e le pietanze. abbiamo preso due pizze (red p. e norma) entrambe ben preparate e condite con ingredienti di qualità. Ho chiesto anche un calice di vino rosso e mi è stato offerto un upgrade( brunello 2018) e siamo venuti a conoscenza che organizzano anche degustazioni con abbinamento pizza e vino. Locale non grandissimo ma ben arredato e posti ben distribuiti situato in zona centro storico. Personale giovane (qualche piccola incertezza ma con l'esperienza si migliora) . consigliato. bravi.
