Amazing place with wonderful staff. I really enjoyed the food it was the best I had in Florence. I also tried a few specialties from the house, and everything was excellent. Highly recommended!

After waiting for 15 mins for our reserved table were asked to walk to another branch a few mins away. Seems there are ar least 3. Well the food was not memorable for any positive reasons sadly. Pork was very salty and potato's were cold, chicken salad - well the chicken didn't taste great, ravioli was good, veal steps with peas - well they weren't strips it was stewed veal with peas but tasted good. Basic food- quite unforgettable.

We went in thinking we'd just have dinner... we left with the serious intention of moving to Florence just to eat this meat every week. Tender, flavorful, cooked to perfection: practically a declaration of love served on a plate. But the real surprise was Ossama. The waiter was impeccable, friendly, super attentive, and had the patience of a medieval Florentine saint. He managed to give us perfect advice and made us feel more pampered than a steak in melted butter. At one point, we were undecided whether to ask for dessert or take it away. A top-notch place: amazing meat, top-notch atmosphere, and Ossama, a World Heritage Site.

The best meal we had in all of Florence. We will definitely remember the homemade lasagna, and the pappardelle, they were deliziosa!

Delicious food! But a big but... the service was terrible. The girl serving us was insane. Everything was super fast and she was super nervous, shaking, etc. etc.

The food was good, but our waitress was extremely rude. She tossed the menus onto our table as she walked by without greeting us, didn't pour our drinks, and barely looked at us while serving. We had to ask for pepper and Parmesan cheese, which is usually part of good service. We were also stuck in a drafty, drafty space the whole time because the door wouldn't close. All the waiters were constantly rushing around, making it impossible to relax. In short: the initial greeting from the woman who was directing the tables was friendly, but the service from the waitress was extremely poor. I wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Forgive me, vegans — but this is about truly exceptional meat. A wonderful authentic osteria in the style of old Italian traditions, full of charm, atmosphere, and character. The place has preserved its genuine soul, which clearly sets it apart from many tourist-focused restaurants. The service was attentive, friendly, and quite fast. We didn’t have a reservation and were simply lucky to get a table, so booking in advance is definitely recommended. Popular with visitors, yet it still feels authentic rather than commercial. There’s warmth here, almost a homemade feeling, combined with outstanding quality. The meat was absolutely incredible — truly unforgettable. They also serve the famous Florentine steak, which attracts many guests specifically for that experience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting authentic atmosphere and incredible food 👍
