This place is a keeper, we loved everything! Make sure to taste their homemade tiramisu - it’s been years searching for an original tiramisu and theirs is for sure one that counts 10/10!

We had dinner at this restaurant which was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at. Typical restaurant with truly excellent main course dishes, excellent meat and selection of sausages that we had as an appetizer. Grilled meat and homemade pasta specialties. The desserts made by them are also excellent. Peaceful, quiet and romantic restaurant perfect for a dinner for two. Friendly, friendly staff welcomed us with a smile. If we really have to find something negative, the wine is not available in bulk but only in bottles with very high prices. Very pleasant experience. Excellent value for money, 60/70 per head.

Excellent historic venue, in the center of Florence, with a strategic position between the Santa Maria Novella station and the leather market. We ate an excellent ribollita, plenty for two people, beans in a flask and a Florentine steak weighing about a kilo, cooked properly in the traditional way, i.e. over wood (no charcoal). To finish, an excellent tiramisu and house wine. Everything appetizing, price within expectations, no surprises and friendly and courteous staff. We'll be back.

September 2023 We came here for the Florentine steak and it did not disappoint. At first they wanted to seat us out the back but I wanted to be in the much more charming front room, where you can see the kitchen, and there's more atmosphere, with huge wine barrels and old-style decor. And you can go and see how your steak is cooking and take a photo! We had a wonderful meal from beginning to end. Just great!

We ate here on New Year’s Eve so bear in mind it was a very busy evening. We had a great waitress but the older waiter was rude to the couple next to us. The food was tasty but our main courses were not hot when they arrived. Disappointing as it’s not a cheap meal. It was a shame they only had one type of gluten free pasta

Simply the best. Food was delicious. Staff was super friendly and helpful. All the tables around us were happy with their meals. Definitely a must. We will be back
