14/06/2026: Beautiful garden, had a great meal. Lamb chops and beef tenderloin, grilled vegetables and a good glass of wine. Friendly service. Close to the amphitheater.

13/06/2026: A fantastic trattoria with a beautiful outdoor seating area in the back, slightly off the beaten tourist track. The menu isn't overwhelming. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. I highly recommend this trattoria! 👍

23/05/2026: Stopped in Mid May for an experience with my group of 10. Dario was present and making it a great time! My main complaint is how raw all the meat was when it came out. This meat is about as rare as it comes. No seasoning. 6 out of 7 dishes were served raw/cold. A cool experience, but hard to cut and eat so much steak cooked to that level. The “Steak Florentino” that came out as the finale was forgettable. It’s worth stopping by the butcher shop and buying some souvenirs but the dinner experience can be skipped.

22/05/2026: We went to Antica Macelleria Cecchini in 2022 and honestly it was more like a huge family party than just dinner. Started out amazing with staff handing out glasses of Chianti right on the street. Once inside it was absolute chaos in the best possible way. Long tables, sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers who become friends by the end of the night. It was loud, busy and there was an endless amount of incredible meat coming out. Had such a blast. If you like your meat, you have to go here. One of the highlights of our Tuscany trip.

02/12/2025: My husband and I went for lunch last Sunday, passing through Pitigliano. I ordered an appetizer of cured meats and crostini, asking for nothing on one of the crostini except a drizzle of olive oil. They explained to me that this substitution wouldn't involve tasting the new olive oil (no one had asked for it), but "regular" oil. I wonder how much more this substitution would have cost compared to the livers on the menu. I found the comment really distasteful...thank goodness we were just passing through!

01/12/2025: Family outing, found this gem of an osteria. Excellent food, prompt and friendly service, warm and welcoming place, excellent value. I'd always go back, too bad we're not very close and we found it by accident!!! Thanks for everything.

03/06/2026: A small and welcoming place. The outdoor area is small, but decorated in the summer. A 10/10 experience! The quality of the ingredients is high, and the owner's cuisine is equally high: every ingredient maintains its flavor throughout. Our go-to for quiet, high-quality evenings.

14/04/2026: For some time now, my boyfriend and I have been dining at this little gem in Bientina, and it continues to enchant us every time. The restaurant is meticulously designed, clean, and cozy: the limited seating creates an intimate, almost family-like atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service is attentive and friendly, always discreet and ready to accommodate every request with professionalism and kindness. A huge shout-out goes to the cuisine: the dishes are truly exceptional. The red prawns, in particular, are extraordinary, incredibly tender, almost melting in your mouth due to their delicate and flavorful texture. The fish is always showcased to its fullest potential, prepared with respect and without excessive sauces or condiments that alter its authentic flavor. Each dish is carefully crafted, refined, and delicious, without ever losing sight of the quality of the ingredients, which we've always found to be incredibly fresh. Finally, the desserts: simple but beautifully executed, the perfect conclusion to dinners designed to pamper yourself and savor the moment.

27/04/2026: What an absolutely fantastic restaurant. The team were so friendly and helpful. My wife is Coeliac and has a strict Gluten Free diet and the team could not be more accommodating. We ended going back the second night during our visit as we were so happy with the amazing food and service we experienced. My wife said the GF pizza was the best she has ever eaten. The team even made her some fresh GF bread when we sat down at the start of the meal. Incredible. Well done to the front of house team and the amazing chefs. A truely great restaurant.

04/05/2026: What an absolute gem we found when we happened upon this lovely spot. Family owned since 1927, the current owners--three siblings--have cleary maintained the quality and warm hospitality established by generations before them. We loved our room, the staff, the restaurant, the pristine beach. We could have stayed a week but are happy to have had an overnight here. Grazie mille...we hope to return!

12/05/2026: Excellent experience! We discovered truly authentic and flavorful traditional Florentine cuisine. The dishes were delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and typically Florentine, making the experience even more enjoyable. The service was impeccable: the entire team was welcoming, smiling, and very attentive. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to discover authentic Florentine cuisine.

19/04/2026: Atmosphere: This place is bursting with color. Placemats with Day of the Dead icicles, mustard-yellow walls, a portrait of Frida Kahlo looking at you from the wall. It's not your typical elegant white-tablecloth Mexican place: it's casual, noisy, and fun. You come in to eat, and you leave wanting a party. The burritos: The absolute stars. A large tortilla, seared on a griddle with just the right amount of burnt edges. Inside, you'll find everything: moist, spiced rice, crispy breaded chicken, melted cheese, lettuce, and tomato. There's also a "redder" version, probably with chili or meat. They're perfectly sealed: compact, they don't fall apart, and the filling doesn't escape. Generous portions: one is enough for a full dinner. The plating is simple but thoughtful. A square white plate, a sprinkling of paprika, drops of salsa that "dirty" in a deliberately street-style way. Always that little tuft of lettuce with jalapeño on the side: so you can adjust the spiciness yourself. To drink: In addition to the classic Coca-Cola can, they have gems like "La Muerte - Mexican Beer Amber Ale." A crazy label with the El Musico skeleton playing the guitar. The amber beer is perfect with the burritos' rich flavors. A detail that shows how much they care about the theme. Experience: Fast, friendly, no-frills service. Considering how full they are on your plate. Perfect place for groups, couples, and carefree evenings. Super filling and tasty burrito. 05/06/2026: There were eight of us yesterday, and it was perfect for us. The service was fantastic, the food delicious, and the table beautifully set. We couldn't find a single thing to complain about. We thought it was fun that the menu was only in Italian; it made us feel even more like we were in Italy. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

05/04/2026: We waited an hour without being served. When it arrived, our T-bone steak was completely different from what I'm used to. After asking the waiter, they finally served it. Furthermore, the steak wasn't even hot.

04/04/2026: We made a reservation through an open KakaoTalk chat room and ordered the set menu for two, and it is the best value for money...! The meat at another restaurant yesterday was too tough, but I definitely acknowledge this place as a T-bone steak hotspot. I'm so glad I was able to eat a proper T-bone steak before leaving Florence! I recommend the T-bone steak over the pasta.
