We chose this restaurant for a midweek lunch as a couple, celebrating a very important anniversary, and I must say the setting was absolutely perfect, both in form and substance! The restaurant is decorated in typical Tuscan style and conveys an immediate sense of order and cleanliness. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. We sat on the bright veranda and ordered two fillets, one in Chianti and one in balsamic vinegar, roasted potatoes and fried artichokes, homemade biscotti, and Vin Santo. This was a truly satisfying lunch: excellent meat, expertly cooked, delicious side dishes, everything (dessert included) beautifully presented, and served in more than satisfying quantities! Given these premises, I have no trouble believing the rest of the menu is equally high quality. The price is absolutely in line with the type and quantity of the menu; you leave without regretting a single cent! This place was a pleasant surprise. I've always lived in the area and regret not coming sooner. I'll definitely try to make up for it in the coming weeks! Highly recommended!

The food was incredible. The filetto manzo was easily a $75 steak in the US or Canada (for 24 euros). It was probably 8-10 oz of super high quality filet. Just a note if you’re used to North American temperatures for cooking of steaks, ask for it more well done than usual as in Italy and France medium rare will get you rare so I always ask for medium and it’s medium rare. The desserts were amazing, panna cotta and tiramisu and the place and service is warm & friendly. Such a wonderful find is a small town. We’re staying at the Grotta Guisti so it’s just a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk to and from the hotel. Highly recommend
