31/05/2026: Couple's lunch on Saturday, May 30th.
The sunny day and Castiglioncello, which wasn't yet in full summer mode, certainly contributed to making it a perfect day.
The restaurant exceeded our expectations, allowing us to spend two wonderful hours at the table, overlooking the sea. Everything was excellent, starting with the friendliness, good humor, and preparation of the entire staff, along with the deliciousness of every dish we tried.
I can't recommend this place enough. A little extra tip: during the summer months, try to book seats on the terrace overlooking the sea in advance.
You can sense the passion and attention to the products and the local area.
The prices are also fair.

03/05/2026: I can say we had a good time, not just a good one. The owner was professional and kind. We had excellent crostoni and sausage. Various first courses were excellent, the pasta was homemade. For our second course, we had fried chicken with zucchini flowers. It was truly excellent, crispy and well-fried. My husband had a sliced steak. That was also excellent. And to finish, three desserts: the bonet and the deconstructed cannoli, truly sublime. House wine and water were also included. What more can I say? Keep up the good work. Thank you ❤️

05/06/2026: Very nice trattoria, you can eat there for very reasonable prices. We were with 6 people, everything is freshly made with simplicity.
Small groups sit together at a table.
Very nice atmosphere.
Prices that make you think that's impossible.
We will definitely come back sometime.
Restaurant opens at 19:15, go early; we were there at 18:30 and there was already a line, and it just kept getting bigger.
Don't expect high service; it's just like eating at Donna's own home.

06/06/2026: The food, service, and atmosphere were unsatisfactory. The positive reviews are completely incomprehensible and, strangely enough, all come from people listed as "Local Guides."
The food was terrible (it tasted like overcooked microwave pasta), and the wine was undrinkable. The staff wasn't particularly attentive either. The only positive aspect was the free parking right outside.
31/05/2026: Truly excellent lunch, we were in a hurry but my boss F. and I went to eat lunch and we were really happy, for the authentic and traditional flavors, recommended!!!

04/06/2026: A good selection of pasta, all of good quality and well-prepared, at a reasonable price. The risotto was also very good, as was the panna cotta. The pizzas being served at other tables also looked good, although we didn't get a chance to try them. The service was adequate. It's worth taking a 10-minute trip from the center of Florence to enjoy a meal in a quieter place with more reasonable prices like this.

01/05/2026: Booked based solely on reviews. My wife had already attacked me because I booked at a touristy place where they scratch the pasta and leave the bill empty. But no. One of the best Florentine steaks I've ever had, served with elegance. A delicious fish entree. Excellent service. All for a lower price than we expected. I recommend it... a wife who apologizes is priceless.
17/04/2026: For a vine bar the Chianti was below average and a more expensive and different wine tasted like vinegar. The tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. The steak was overcooked and tough. The hummus was runny and bland. The salad was excellent and the view outside is awesome.

04/05/2026: “My partner and I went to this restaurant and were absolutely thrilled. The spaghetti with razor clams!!! was simply amazing, a rare delicacy. The fried fish was also excellent, crispy and light. The atmosphere is very quiet and welcoming, perfect for relaxing and enjoying dinner. The staff was attentive, polite, and always available without being intrusive. The dishes were truly amazing: I recommend it 100%.”

15/02/2026: Unclear pricing for off-menu items.
I had lunch there with friends. We were looking for something quick and tasty, so we ordered a charcuterie board for three of us to share, with three types of cold cuts and two types of cheese. The board was off-menu, and we discovered it cost €48.
Considering that with water, three beers, and a seafood pappa al pomodoro, we paid €86.
Good, but overpriced.
