Il Caminetto In Suvereto

A very intimate restaurant in the heart of the village of Suvereto. We sampled local dishes that were mouth-watering. The service was friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere is clean and relaxing, the staff is friendly, courteous, and welcoming. The wait was reasonable, and all our dishes arrived at the same time, even though we had ordered several dishes. Unfortunately, we weren't able to book a table outside, which would have enhanced the already very positive aspects of the place... Highly recommended!

A good pizzeria in the historic center of Suvereto. Excellent pizza, very friendly staff, reasonable prices. The only drawbacks: aside from the chronic lack of parking (though it's true that we're in a medieval historic center), the outdoor space seemed a bit cramped (but very clean). Otherwise, OK.

Nice pool. Too bad it closes at 8 PM. Friendly staff. The owners are very helpful. Recommended for those looking for a quiet room in a residence.

There are places where you don't just go to eat, but have an experience that stays in your heart. Il Caminetto in Suvereto is one of them. From the first moment we were greeted with sincere smiles, kindness, helpfulness, and a rare warmth. The staff made us feel truly at home, as if we were guests of the family. This, even before the food, is what makes a place authentic. And then the cuisine... simply extraordinary. The Rossinis are fabulous, the Maremma tortelli with wild boar ragù are divine, and the chicken strips with grilled vegetables are phenomenal. Each dish speaks of passion, the quality of the ingredients, and that old-fashioned mastery, when cooking was done with love, patience, and respect for tradition. It's an authentic place, where you can feel the warmth of true hospitality and savor flavors that are hard to forget. If I could rate it, it wouldn't be 100... but 1000! Thank you so much to all of you for giving us a wonderful evening. Keep it up, because people and places like yours are becoming increasingly rare. ❤️

Delicious food and very kind staff

We've been going to Suvereto for many years and have eaten at the pizzeria several times. We've tried many restaurants by now, and we have to say, this was probably our last visit to Il Caminetto. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, that's not the problem. The food is simply uninspired; the wild boar goulash without any toppings for €16 is a joke, and on top of that, it was as tough as shoe leather. The pizzas are good and inexpensive, but the rest is completely overpriced for what you get. The price/performance ratio is simply no longer acceptable. Furthermore, there are no gluten-free options. Offering gluten-free pasta is hardly a feat anymore. Sorry, but this is simply outdated.
