In the historic center of Lucca. Dinner for two. Very attentive and fast service with well-executed, high-quality dishes. I definitely recommend it.

Downtown restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, surrounded by fairly touristy spots. The target audience is varied, from friends to couples, given the fairly intimate atmosphere. Given the limited seating, I recommend booking and specifying whether you'd like to be seated inside or outside. The menu features traditional dishes and modern reinterpretations, so you can choose from classic tortelli lucchesi or a reimagined peposo croquette. The first courses are good: the homemade tagliatelle are delicious (€16), the portion size is acceptable, as are the tortelli (€16). Good value for money. As for the second courses, the peposo croquettes are good, crispy and served in a sauce perfect for dipping bread. An interesting reinterpretation of a classic dish. Good value for money at €22. The rovellina is good (€20), but be careful, it's not the classic rovellina dipped in sauce, but a more gourmet and delicate reinterpretation. The cover charge is €3, which is a good deal considering the bread basket: flatbread is served with a little extra virgin olive oil to sample. The attentive and meticulous service is commendable. A must try!

A restaurant in the heart of Lucca, with outdoor seating in the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, where there's always a bit of activity. The staff was friendly, and the food got top marks: the appetizer I chose, in particular, octopus with teriyaki sauce, was truly impressive. We spent about €100 for two, including an appetizer, first course, dessert, and glasses of wine—it's fair enough.
