Everything we tried was incredible, a truly amazing experience. It's a shame we're leaving the area because otherwise we'd definitely come back.

It's a typical Tuscan place, but one of the real ones (I say this as a Florentine). The food is really good and the house wine is amazing. Plus, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Absolutely outstanding! The pasta was simply amazing – perfectly al dente, full of flavor, and clearly freshly made. The wine selection complemented everything beautifully. Service was attentive and friendly, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. Overall a fantastic experience – we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended! 🍝🍷

A quaint little place where we ate delicious garlic pici and Certaldo's signature onion soup. Definitely recommended for a break in the village!

Today we went to Certaldo for a short visit. We had lunch at this Osteria, a pleasant discovery. We were warmly welcomed by the kind and very friendly staff, and the food was truly delicious. Superb ribollita (as a Lucca native would say), seasoned with delicious olive oil and accompanied by excellent red wine (they have a top-notch cellar and unique beers). We continued with a mixed platter... what cured meats... a treat for the palate, even the cheeses with jams, divine. We'll definitely be back; in the meantime, I highly recommend it.

While visiting the historic village of Certaldo, we found this restaurant, which was open for lunch for three people. The space isn't huge, but it's very welcoming and quaint. The menu isn't extensive, but it's well-chosen, and the service is attentive and friendly. The pici with ragù (no tomato sauce) is delicious, and the tiramisu is also very good. The price is fair. What more can I say? Highly recommended!

Classic...family-style...traditional...excellent...Tuscan cuisine. A small...charming...pleasant atmosphere. Attentive...courteous...welcoming service. Truly excellent dishes (excellent pici all'aglione....sublime Francesina with onions....) A must-visit place if you come to Certaldo.

18/04/2026: We always return with great pleasure. We're regulars, and when we pass through Florence, it's our only stop, as it's the last bastion of Florentine cuisine and a place to enjoy a quiet dinner, laughing with the owner and experimenting with flavors. The owner is a delightful gentleman, friendly, smiling, welcoming, and a true Florentine. He explains the dishes with love and always has the right advice. The dishes are limited; don't expect a 200-course menu, but in my opinion, A place that offers "little choice" is because it knows what it's doing and knows what it's preparing for you, and trust me, it knows what it's doing. If you're passing through Florence, in my opinion, it's a must-see. Highly recommended

Trattoria Diladdarno

20/04/2026: We were staying in the area and had dinner at this trattoria. We ordered three fillets and asked for a tomato-filled picio for my daughter. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and the meat was tender! Even the tomato sauce for my daughter's picio was expertly made (which isn't a given when you go to a restaurant and ask for a dish off the children's menu). Special mention to the waitress; she was kind and attentive throughout the service. See you soon!
19/04/2026: The Florentine steak melts in your mouth (the wild boar pici is also excellent), the prices are very fair, and the hospitality and friendliness are excellent. A true trattoria, as it should be.
