16/03/2026: The food is very good. I've been to this restaurant twice, because the first time I had a good experience. It's a shame that the second time the service was terrible. I had to wait forever for the side dish, they had forgotten it. Then, after having eaten a first course and a second course, we asked for another second course, only this time they brought the food without cutlery, so we had to eat with our hands. I didn't understand! The guy who brought us coffee started chatting with two customers with our coffee in his hand. Crazy stuff. It's a shame because the food is very good!

04/12/2025: Typical home-style Japanese street food, the menu isn't overly extensive, but it offers the right selection to suit everyone's tastes and dietary preferences (vegetarian and allergen options are carefully noted). The karē are very good, and the ramen broth is exceptional, at least for me. For dinner, you can also order sushi when you book or by 1:00 PM that day. This is also highly recommended, with incredible quality and flavor. The desserts are also delicious, taking you back to the world of anime! A wonderful experience in a homey, family-friendly atmosphere.

05/04/2026: We are lucky to have a restaurant such as this close to where we live. The food is "ottimo" and the "Borromeo" Chianti Classico riserva 2021 from the own estate is a delicious very well made powerhouse. Service, the beautifully laid out ristorante, everything is totally on par and tasteful. Next time it will be a bit warmer, so then we will dine outdoors: we will also be able to enjoy the beautiful views of the valley. For the 30th of may we have already booked a "pranzo" and a tasting of the estate wines to enjoy with the family that is coming over from NL and the USA. This was (and will be) the ultimate Italian (dining) experience!

29/03/2026: My husband and I just stayed 5 nights here in March and wow, wow, wow!! We are so impressed with the service, the stay, and the views! The rooms were so beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating — Claudia helped with breakfast each morning and always was so kind in setting up a table on the patio for us and making our coffees, and the staff were kind to give us silverware and plates for some snacks we had brought back. Breakfast always had plenty of options and fresh pastries, fruits, eggs, etc. We absolutely hope to return again one day. Also can’t say enough about the location - very central and convenient for day trips into Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, and other surrounding towns. San Casciano in Val di Pesa is also a lovely town with everything you need - grocery, gelato, restaurants, etc! The restaurant wasn’t open for the season yet, so we will HAVE to come back!!!

07/04/2026: We visited for Easter with the whole family (15 people), seated in a small but adequate room perfect for this type of family gathering. We were isolated from other customers, yet still served perfectly and at the right time for an Easter lunch. The menu was prepared by the host and featured his typical Tuscan specialties, excellent quality and flavor. The service was impeccable, very kind and attentive. We will definitely return.

30/03/2026: When you sit at "I Bottega," you enter a kitchen made with love and passion, using good, genuine, traditional products. The dishes all have a strong, distinctive flavor that fills your heart and stomach! The welcome is excellent; Luca explains each dish because he knows what he's talking about. It's the restaurant where you eat the fat of the ham, too! Not recommended for vegans, only! For everyone else, it's a must!

15/04/2026: The atmosphere is meant to be left-wing, given the decor and the way the food is served—in short, student-oriented, so cheap... It seems so. Black-eyed peas, zucchini, and a small bowl of rice cost €12, with coffee and dessert €19. I'm not arguing, but I take note. I won't be returning.

23/11/2025: The name has basically changed. The spaces are still the same, spacious and well-lit, as the previous owner. The staff is young and friendly. With full dining rooms, there are some inaccuracies with orders, but they can definitely improve. I had a good time.

22/03/2026: The restaurant is modern inside, but in my opinion, it clashes with the flowery dishes and other slightly "outdated" elements that clashed with the overall modern feel it was probably intended to convey. The steak was excellent, perhaps even better. The appetizer featured very poor-quality cheeses and a tomato soup that seemed pre-cooked; I don't know how to explain it; it was artificial in some way. For dessert, the tart was good, but the Prato biscuits were terrible, made with something resembling candied fruit; only two had almonds. I find this unfortunate coincidence with many places that boast of modernity, yet try to present traditional cantucci in a whimsical way, with terrible results. You could order the 3-kg bag from MARR and you'd make a better impression. The service, especially considering it was a Saturday night, was staffed by young and very young people, and perhaps one or two slightly older waiters who knew their job. Overall it didn't make a good impression on me.

02/04/2026: We wanted a quick lunch break, and we found a piece of Tuscany. Attentive and friendly service, Serena S (little) was precise in presenting the dishes and recommending what to eat. Top-notch cuisine. I had an ossobuco, which has become part of my sensory memory. We will definitely be back.
