09/07/2025: We tried both the chickpea cake on its own and the version with schiacciata, eggplant, and chickpea cake: simply exceptional. Fragrant dough, authentic flavors.
The only downside? A bit of a line (but it moves quickly) and the fact that there are no seats... you can grab it and enjoy it on the street or on a bench overlooking the sea, as they used to do in the olden days.

Very low prices, spartan environment, very high quality.

A nice surprise: a very pleasant singer with an acoustic guitar.
The best restaurant in Italy, as far as we're concerned.
Highly recommended.
24/06/2025: One of our best meals in Italy. Traditional Italian dishes with a twist. We got the truffle pasta, rigatoni, and the pork. All was soo good. Would love to come back one day.
The patio is also a great atmosphere

12/06/2025: The food was terrific ! We ordered three types of Malabar briyani (chicken, lamb and vegetable) . The taste was superb and we loved the raita. Reminded us from our time in Kerala. We also enjoyed the dosas! The balance of crispiness and softness was on point. The only drawback was it began to be noisy in the middle of our meal . Large group of people came all at once.
11/06/2025: The restaurant is amazing, the food is very delicious, and the service is more than excellent. The staff is very kind, and the seating is beautiful. It’s one of the best Indian restaurants in all of Italy. Anyone coming to Florence must visit this restaurant. For me, it was my first time, but definitely not the last — I will repeat it for sure. Thank you for the very delicious food👍👍

24/07/2025: Just fabulous. Visited the wine window and the team were so friendly we decided to return another day for dinner. Had the Pici special pasta (truffle, tossed in a pecorino wheel) and filet Mignon and kids steak (there is a kids menu). All were delicious and the service was outstanding. A must try!

30/06/2025: Very familiar atmosphere. Really delicious food: cold cuts, cheeses, savory pies, fried gnocco (I don't remember what they call it) and homemade cake... everything superb. All for only €20, wine and coffee included! Very helpful, friendly and easy-going staff.

29/06/2025: Awarded best draft beer in Italy Bought 3 bottles of discounted cider very kind and helpful staff, offered me a kombucha. If you pass by Florence it is worth a stop. Very quiet place and excellent beer of various kinds.
