Simone and his staff welcome you in an enveloping and warm location, in typically Tuscan style and with a beautiful view of the hills of the upper Valdera. The menu is what you expect from such a place, handmade pasta, long cooking, delicious ragù and meat of all kinds. The service is impeccable, perfect times between one course and another. The desserts and house wine are also good. In short, after several attempts I managed to book and I'm not at all surprised that it's always full. I'll definitely put it on my list of favorite places and can't wait to return. Thank you, we had a fantastic Sunday lunch.

We really liked La Locanda del Gallo because it combines high quality food, courteous service and a warm, tastefully furnished environment. There isn't a dish that we didn't like and the attention behind their preparation is clear and strong. We highly recommend it. Prices perfectly consistent with the quality of the menu.

Delicious birthday Tuscan lunch at La Locanda del Gallo in Chianni. Love the concept behind their cooking… Slow-cooked authentic Tuscan food prepared with local ingredients and served with great pride. They make their fresh pasta daily, and the sauces are cooked for hours to perfection. The chef personally greets you and explains the menu, and he checked in with us again at the end of the meal. Amazing service!

Gorgeous place, delicious food, simple but friendly and welcoming service. The best quality/price ratio I have ever found. I highly recommend the fettuccine with onion and sausage, one of the best first courses I've ever tried.
