Everything was perfect, from the location, to the impeccable service, to the originality of the menu, to the owner's willingness to share the history of the venue. We will definitely be back.

Everything would have been perfect if, once we got up from the chairs, the blue paint hadn't stained us, and the owner, sorry, didn't even offer a €1 discount, the minimum, after such negligence... Photos of the clothes were taken and posted on TripAdvisor, so everything is verifiable... My partner and I know how they treat the public because we've only been working there for 25 years...

My boyfriend and I went last night to celebrate my 25th birthday, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. A small, intimate restaurant that welcomes you as if you were at the home of someone who cooks with true love. Caterina is truly a fairy: cook, waitress, and owner, she manages to do everything with rare ease and passion, making every guest feel special. With her "magic wand," she transforms authentic ingredients into dishes that enchant from the first bite. We ate from starter to dessert, and it was a crescendo of flavors: delicious appetizers, freshly made pasta, carefully prepared yet authentic dishes, and desserts that ended the dinner with a smile. The dynamic and freshly prepared menu makes you want to try everything. Special mention for the exceptional on-site wine, perfect to accompany every course. The quality is top-notch, the atmosphere warm and convivial, and the prices are more than fair. One of those unforgettable dinners that makes you want to return even before you leave the house. 22/03/2026: The hospitality, cuisine, and service were truly top-notch. My wife and I had the fish dishes for lunch and found them delicious. I recommend finishing with dessert; we loved the meringue pavlova. Compliments to Mr. Lorenzo's daughter for how she manages the restaurant. I'd also like to add that I found her to be very friendly, as was the rest of the staff. We'll definitely be back.

05/04/2026: I did not expect this level of cuisine and thoughtfulness given its reasonable price. Each dish we ordered had a little bit of a spin on the classic versions that it kept the meal interesting but still delivered plenty of flavour and excellence! Our favourite was the Vongole which had a turnip top puree with burrata as a dressing. The fresh clam flavours still shined through but the dish was elevated by the turnip top sauce! Service was excellent and attentive. We ordered a portion of shrimp croquettes to share. The chef was nice enough to bring it out in 2 plates to save us the trouble. The restaurant was a little under staff. Our waitress did an amazing job, please hire more people so she doesn’t have to dash from table to table!

15/04/2026: I’ve been to Mangiafuoco twice and both times were amazing, especially their bistecca fiorentina. Giovani and the rest of the staff are wonderful hosts. They are also very friendly to students trying to learn Italian and actually helped me practice during our dinner! The first time I went with my godmother we ordered their Greek salad, pici alla mangiofuoco, and their bistecca fiorentina for 2 people. The second time I went with 4 friends, and they ordered one seafood pici, one ribollita, and one bruschetta. The location is small on the first floor but there is an upstairs. Make sure to make reservations during the peak tourist months as it makes seating easier. But if it’s off-season, walk-ins are more likely to be possible. Overall I hope to come back again soon with family and friends.
