03/11/2025: Everytime I come to have a meal here I leave smiling and having an amazing full stomach! The staff are so kind and the owner is so welcoming! The food is fresh and delicious! Definitely will remember Squisio as one of my favorite restaurants in Prato!

23/09/2025: We spent a day and a night in Pontremoli before arriving in Follonica. We loved it, and especially the food at your restaurant. The testaroli with pesto were our number one! Then, meeting Zucchero for dinner, too—what a thrill!

10/11/2025: What an incredible restaurant! Its been about 10 days since we ate at Le Volte, but I am still thinking pleasant memories of the food! We we're deciding on where to go for our last dinner in Florence, we immediately, simultaneously, said Le Volte. Mind you, that in the 3 weeks that we were in Italy, we did not patronize any restaurant more than once for dinner, gotta try them all! Although all the places we ate at, had been really good experiences, Le Volte was outstanding for the quality of food, highlighted by a super staff. Besides enjoying great top notch skills from Chef and cook, our dining experience was very well supported by two different server teams. Everyone had the same exceptional work effort to make the dining experience the best for the customers. Our knowledge of Bistecca alla Fiorentina had been limited to youtube and other internet sites so the servers were very helpful in recommending the meal plan [subtle 5W1H ;)]. The servers were definitely spot on! They recommended the hot grill in case we thought it would be too rare but we could remove to our plates if it was acceptable. Easy right? After the fist bites, we pulled the cuts so that they wouldn't cook any further except for the bone. We tried different ways as suggested, plain, with a little bit of olive oil, chased by some red wine. The meat was incredible any which way, YMMV but plain was the most flavorful for meat/beef lovers - the post seasoning, salt flakes and rosemary were enhancing and well suited for this style. (Sorry Guga, you should have eaten here ;) ) Being rare did not equate like in the States where it would have been "chewey" in most cases. This is better than the USDA Prime and dry aged. Chef selected awesome quality beef, cut to weight, and prepared it perfectly to temp. Not greasy at all, only delicious and tender. Compared to A5, NY, etc. This cut and style is our favorite now. There might be some bias due to the great staff so let's say Le Volte showed us some of the best of Florence! Chef has some fabulous insider help for a top beef supplier as the slabs looked like some of the best after seeing lots of other places around town. Sadly, due to the beef sourcing availability in the States, Florentine style would be a dream. Only trip here can satisfy the need. Anyways, the servers cautioned us about not over ordering as the cuts ranged from 1.3kg to 1.7kg as more can be ordered later if we were still hungry. Definitely one of those times having a bottomless pit for a stomach and Warren Buffet's wallet would have been nice ;) Contucci and Vin Santo concluded excellent meals. We were fortunate to happily experience two nights of Florence's traditions here. Sure, lemoncello is a great Italian tradition but they have bottles all over the States, we even ate a restaurant called Lemoncello near Rochester, NY, lol. Luckily we can have ice cold, no ice lemoncello after dinner anytime almost anywhere. Bistecca alla Fiorentina and the experience? Only in Florence and especially at Ristorante Le Volte Firenze! The only minus, more seating needed as the restaurant can fill up fast. Reservations are easy using their web site. People were waiting outside before the restaurant opened! Yes, we are suffering from Italian food withdrawals, to say the least :) Arrivederci!

04/09/2025: Nice and clean place, excellent, I highly recommend it. Sandwiches and wraps made with top-quality local ingredients, everything made in-house, including the fries, which are nothing like the frozen ones at the big fast food restaurants. I really appreciate the decision to sell the molecule and recommend purchasing an Italian product whose taste is identical to the original and whose brand doesn't support genocide. The staff is also extremely kind and helpful.

01/09/2025: We were on vacation in Volterra and found this place after reading the reviews. The business is run by two very friendly and helpful people. You can tell they care about the quality of their products. The bread is homemade, as are the Chianti piadinas (very good and unique). The sauces are also artisanal. A special mention goes to the chips, which are cut and fried freshly, without frozen products—a reminder of home-cooked meals from the past. I highly recommend them for a quality sandwich, which even my teenage daughters loved. The Molecola Italian soft drink, identical to the famous American soda, is also good.

It's a fantastic place, tranquil and peaceful, divine tagliatelle with mushrooms, delicious ice cream with honey 😋... highly recommended by me... we'll be back... 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝

11/10/2025: We discovered this agriturismo thanks to the popular TV show "4 Ristoranti," but experiencing it was a thrilling, wonderful experience we'll definitely repeat. All the staff were kind and knowledgeable, the location enchanting, the apartment meticulously maintained, the idea of ​​restoring the ancient village exudes love for the past, and the creation of shared spaces is innovative. The museums, the photos scattered throughout the village 💜, and the vegetable garden are stunning and unmissable. During dinner, we discovered authentic yet expertly paired flavors, culinary techniques that instilled a passion for what we prepared. We ate wonderfully. What can I say about Barbara and Luca? Two incredibly kind, helpful people who do their work with love. Thank you all, we'll be back soon and often.

20/10/2025: A lovely restaurant located in the historic center of Anghiari, offering traditional dishes with a few modern twists. Prices are a bit above average, but they're fully compensated by the exceptional quality of the ingredients and the excellent preparation. Generous portions for the first courses. Friendly and knowledgeable service.

30/09/2025: A cute little restaurant run by one person, so it takes a bit longer to be served. Otherwise, the restaurant has a small blackboard menu. The dishes we had were simply delicious! Highly recommended. The octopus in a slightly spicy tomato soup was perfectly cooked. A wonderful comfort food. The mackerel with chickpeas was also a dream. Bottom line: be patient and indulge your taste buds!

12/11/2025: I booked for dinner because we had an upcoming engagement, so I chose based on our needs. However, we discovered the atmosphere of historic restaurants. We descended a staircase and entered a comfortable room. The attentive and courteous service moved between the tables with ease, keeping everything under control. At the end, we went upstairs, and the owner offered us an amaro. We paid the bill, which was good value for money, and we lingered to chat for a while. I recommend stopping by if you're passing through.

29/08/2025: Very dull bland pasta dishes. We were very disappointed. Could not finish my linguine as was just so dull and tasteless. Meat courses may be better - we did not order those so cannot comment. Room is nice. Service is not very helpful.
