A truly positive experience, the food was excellent and refined. I drank an excellent Vernaccia Riserva, which, even if it wasn't excellent, was nonetheless excellent thanks to the explanation, storytelling, and expertise of the waiter. It's truly beautiful. It's rare to find places in tourist cities where the staff are knowledgeable and don't try to rip off tourists, especially considering the same treatment for foreign guests. Compliments, highly recommended, even for the price.

Great private chef experience with Saverio. We were a group of 16 - cooking for a party that size every night was quite a task so it was great to be able to book Saverio to look after us for dinner one evening. Terrific food and lots of choice. We enjoyed it so much we booked him again for another dinner during our stay. He is a super friendly guy, great communication and really helpful. A restaurant worth visiting, the dishes and wines are impeccably explained. Great guys, excellent cuisine.

Fortunately, they have a small menu here, but what is on it is full of passion; here you taste the Tuscan cuisine. With many local ingredients and a top-quality olive oil. The wine list is incredible; here they even dare to put a Sicilian wine from a special young winemaker on the menu, and that right in the middle of the Chianti region!

My cousin Luca and I decided to take a motorcycle ride together, leaving from my house in Fauglia to head to San Gimignano. Beautiful roads, a blooming season, a sunny day, and... a million people who had made the same choice as us, going to San Gimignano. Having motorcycles didn't do us any good; we ended up getting a fine for "parking" them in a corner where they weren't a nuisance but weren't in a "permitted" space. A bit of anger toward a city council that doesn't understand that, when access to the city is limited, a bit of flexibility is needed. After all, we're there to bring in tourist money. Well, that aside, we chose a slightly less central restaurant to avoid the crowds: "Il Pino." Elegant, with tables on a side street with no traffic and not too many people. We sat at unattractive tables and chairs without tablecloths, which didn't match the high-end restaurant prices. Fortunately, the food is excellent, with a wide selection without being overwhelming. The staff is very friendly and close-knit, which is evident from the fact that it's a long-standing family business that also includes a B&B. I asked permission to photograph and tour the place, and they very kindly said yes. The rooms are very beautiful and include a beautifully renovated former stable. All in all, a very pleasant experience that I recommend. The only reason I didn't give it full marks was the lackluster nature of the table.

We stopped by on a whim and pushed open the door because the menu looked so tempting. We were so glad we did for lunch. The asparagus and truffle risotto was excellent, and the stuffed pigeon was sublime. The wine pairings were superb! Kudos and thanks to the waiter for his generosity in sharing his regional specialties.

A nice place and the food is good.

The kitchen offers extremely tasty and carefully prepared dishes, showcasing the flavors of the region. Everything is accompanied by an excellent selection of wines. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, welcoming guests with meticulous attention to detail. A highly recommended venue.

Incredible restaurant! We ate very well from appetizer to dessert; it was by far the best restaurant of my holiday in Tuscany! It definitely deserves a 5/5 rating.
