04/04/2026: Bar Ruiu is a very welcoming place, friendly, and offers excellent service. The staff are very polite and helpful. Their poké and schiacciatini are delicious! You'll feel right at home! Hugs to all the bar staff!

17/05/2026: Discovered by chance, from the outside you wouldn't have bet a cent on it... but once you cross the threshold, a whole new world opens up! I've never eaten fish like this before, simple and tasty dishes, as Armandino says, "ignorant" :-) A fried fish... Mhhhhh and marinated anchovies... Mhhhhh and... I could go on! Kindness and courtesy galore... If you pass through Livorno, a must-stop; best to book even if they have multiple seatings... I'll remember Livorno for the storm and Armandino.

22/05/2026: Absolutely exceptional. We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and it was hands down our favorite dining experience out of our entire trip around Italy. The house wine, two pasta entrees, and an exceptional apple pie dessert were the absolutely amazing for the price. We left extremely satisfied and thinking about this place for the rest of the trip. Unfortunately, we did not get to visit the garden patio, but the inside was lovely and intimate as well.

21/05/2026: The pasta, the seafood, the wine….they were all so delicious. We went there twice and such a shame we didn’t heed the advice of our host earlier. Otherwise we probably will be going there everyday. We spent a few weeks in Italy so far, this is one of the two eating places where i literally wiped the plates clean with the bread (the other on was in Matera).

03/05/2026: Arnold's is an institution, whether for a quick lunch or dinner or a late-night burger. Always friendly and helpful, the owners add value to this place, adding to the already excellent quality of the food!

05/12/2025: My partner and I were passing through Grosseto and discovered this restaurant by chance. The place is small but cozy, warm, and very quaint. The owner is very kind, empathetic, and attentive to his customers. The menu is lovely, well-stocked, with several Maremma specialties. The food is truly excellent. Highly recommended!

27/03/2026: Excellent gelato!!! The only advice I can give to anyone reading this—and to the shop's manager—is that those who, like many others, suffer from perfume allergies may have problems when coming in for gelato. It would be wise not to use that much perfume in an gelato shop.

Beneath the building are the historic cellars of Tenuta Squarcialupi, where Chianti is still aged today: these fascinating and evocative spaces are open to visitors. The restaurant offers a traditional Tuscan menu, expertly revisited by chef Francesco Costagli. The pasta is carefully prepared by chef Alessio Perna, a true master. The service is attentive, friendly, and, dare I say, impeccable. A truly exceptional culinary experience: I highly recommend lunch or dinner here. Special praise goes to the owner, Mauro Maestrini, a true master of the art. The entire team, from the kitchen to the dining room, deserves praise for their professionalism and dedication. An experience worth repeating... the only risk: it can be addictive! 😊

01/05/2026: We had (or we thought we have a reservation in another restaurant), but it turned out to be closed. Trying to find a place nearby without reservation and last minute, we bumped into this place which was full mainly with locals, but also few tourists like us. We were lucky they could find us a table and we enjoyed fantastic food. Atmosphere and service are also very good. Highly recommend it!

10/04/2026: Simply fantastic! If you're unsure what to order, definitely ask for a recommendation. We had number 18 and number 7, and we highly recommend them both! This restaurant is truly excellent. I'd come back just for the service alone; they were incredibly attentive. The prices are also very reasonable.

07/04/2026: I ate here on Easter Monday with my husband, and while I don't usually write reviews, I have to applaud this intimate Livorno restaurant. We enjoyed a superb appetizer of seared squid with fennel and oranges, and fantastic tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and clams, and others with clams and bottarga. The caramelized basket with cream and berries was also delicate and delightful. Bravo, and goodbye.

06/04/2026: The staff was very kind and helpful. Even though it was Easter Monday, they found us a table and the service was very fast. I'm celiac, so they brought me gluten-free bread. I had risotto, but they also had gluten-free pasta. You can see great experience and professionalism from all the staff. The price/quality ratio was right.
