Toscanella Osteria In Firenze

This is my second time at Osteria Toscanella. It's always a delicious experience.

We have traveled to Florence for over 5 years staying months a time. We started going to Osteria Toscanella last year when it opened. THe food is excellent from appetizers to desserts. THe service is professional and knowledgeable as well as appropriately friendly. The owner is a gentleman and is knowledgeable about the wines. The wine selection is well sourced and every time we enjoy the suggestions the owner or waitress has made. The tables are decently spaced so you don't feel like you are in a cattle car and squeezed in next to someone. The room is pleasant and has some historical significance to the area. Every time we dine here - the food selection, preparation. plating and taste are all done with care and purpose. We enjoy every meal we have here. We can hear each other talk and don't have to yell to be heard. We hear other people's delight from table to table as their food arrives. It is on a human scale.

Everything was amazing! The vongole was definitely the star of the show and I loved my risotto! Well worth the walk outside of the usual restaurant hub.

A great place to sample some classic Tuscan dishes. A lovely dining room blending old and new, attentive and top-quality service, and beautifully prepared dishes.

The staff are professional and lovely, with a level of service far above average. The wild boar pappardelle was excellent: fresh, well-seasoned, with a subtle and delicate flavor. A truly remarkable experience.

Best pasta we had in the past 3 days in Florence. Delicious steak. Great and fast service.

I had the T-bone steak and truffle pasta!! Definitely 👍 the T-bone is delicious. The atmosphere is great too. I recommend it!!
