20/10/2025: We had dinner the other evening and even though there were 16 of us we waited very little. The owner was very kind and very friendly and explained the dishes and the various beers to us. It was truly a beautiful evening seasoned with the friendliness of a true Tuscan. Thanks from all the friends of Carnia.

11/11/2025: Fantastic location. I didn't know it, I was there for a wedding... on the beach 🤩 fantastic setup, indoor and outdoor spaces, everything very well-kept. Top staff and EXCELLENT food... I've never eaten so well at a wedding.

03/10/2025: 🇬🇧 We had lunch in October 2025 on a Friday. Quiet location with refined seafood cuisine. Highly recommended if you're looking for good, reinterpreted seafood dishes. The restaurant owner is very kind, friendly, and knows his job very well. The prices are reasonable for what's on offer. There's a blackboard with the prices of the dishes displayed at the entrance. The cover charge includes homemade bread, and we were offered a starter of truly delicious samples. The desserts were on par with the rest of the dishes. Highly recommended if you're willing to spend a little more than at other restaurants on the same street, but for me, it's worth every penny. 🇬🇧

17/10/2025: This restaurant lives up to its name, with a very family-friendly atmosphere. The menu includes three starters, three main courses, and desserts still available. Everything was delicious: penne alla boscaiola, pork steak, and delicious desserts. A must-try experience!

26/10/2025: A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, exquisite food. We ordered lasagna and Buenos Aires salad. Both dishes were excellent. A glass of Malbec wine was one of the best wines I've tasted since living in Europe (the Malbec was Argentine, perhaps Mendoza). I would have drunk the whole bottle, but it wasn't the right time. Unfortunately, I didn't eat the steak, which is surely the best thing on the menu and I have no doubt it's also the best meat you'll likely eat in Florence, since they grill Argentine Angus. Everything at that dinner was perfect: the service, the palate, and the atmosphere. Applause to the chef and eternal thanks to the waiter, who was a sweetheart. Keep it up, you make people happy... and of course, THE MALVINAS ARE ARGENTINE!!!

13/10/2025: I stopped for lunch. The waitress and owner were very kind... I had a main course and a dessert. Sliced ​​Limousine sirloin steak with blue Mugello fondue. Apple pie with vanilla cream. 🤤 The house wine was also excellent.

The service was impeccable and attentive, with special attention paid to our four-year-old son, who was welcomed with great kindness. 03/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at the Dirty Rat. The service was exceptional; everyone was helpful, and we had a wonderful connection with everyone. The interior was very impressive, with beautiful designer lamps and lovely paintings. I spent a lot of time looking around. The dishes and desserts were consistently delicious, created and presented with surprising and distinctive flavors. The wine was the perfect finishing touch. I look back on our evening with a smile on my face. Thank you so much!

02/09/2025: Lovely joint with both Tuscan and a few American/Mexican style dishes. The zucchini flowers were lovely and the pici as well. The staff spoke good English, compared to other establishments in the area.

09/11/2025: A small but great surprise in a not-so-veg-friendly Tuscany. After extensive research, we stumbled upon this restaurant, which is certainly charming. But let's get to the food. The choice was quite difficult, thanks in part to the narration of each dish, which conveyed passion, attention to detail, and the choice of seasonal ingredients. We were given a small, delicious welcome appetizer, as were the dishes that followed, which left us truly satisfied.

14/10/2025: Highly recommend this place in Volterra. The interior has a glass floor, so you can see some Etruscan roads and wells below your feet. Our waiters were extremely friendly too. The real standout was the tiramisu, I could hardly believe it was plant based!
